Let me ask you this when you first started DJing were you nervous for your first event? Actually I wasn�t because when I first started DJing I was actually spinning for somebody else. When I was spinning for somebody else I used to start on somebody else like �Hey Aaries I need you to spin for five minutes, Aaries I need you to spin for thirty minutes�. I just kept getting more time and twenty minutes would turn into an hour.

That's because it's more than just a Web course, and the in-person training session has a heavy emphasis on practical instruction. Kennedy and his team are offering one of the courses to culminate in a four-hour session on Nov. 4. Students first take an on-line course through the International Hunter Education Association's Internet site (ihea.com). As they work through the material, students take a series of quizzes. Students can expect the on-line course to take about four hours, although some hunters will probably be able to complete it more quickly. Armed with their completed quizzes from the on-line course, the students need to attend the session to take an exam and complete the practical training session. The course runs 1-5 p.m.
EFF study confirms Comcast's BitTorrent interference
The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has released a report (PDF) containing analysis of Comcast's Internet traffic interference activities. The EFF's study provides strong evidence that Comcast is using packet-forging to disrupt peer-to-peer (P2P) filesharing on their network. According to the report, the EFF used an open-source packet sniffer called Wireshark to analyze network traffic while attempting to seed public domain literature on BitTorrent with a Comcast broadband connection. The tests confirmed that BitTorrent performance was being selectively degraded by unexpected TCP reset packets. Previous independent research conducted by the AP is consistent with the findings published by the EFF. "Initial investigations suggest that Comcast is interfering with some subset of protocols, rather than interfering equally with TCP/IP traffic generally," the EFF's study says.
The Register Misunderstands BitTorrent Encryption
The Register recently had a story about an explosion of encrypted BitTorrent traffic. They speculate that this is an attempt to evade the recording industry and law enforcement officials who are cracking down on illegal file sharing. But as TorrentFreak explains, El Reg is fundamentally misunderstanding the rationale for BitTorrent encryption. The whole point of BitTorrent is its ability to share files with complete strangers. Copyright holders can connect to BitTorrent swarms as easily as anyone else can, and encryption won't stop them from determining the IP addresses of the other swarm participants. Rather, the goal of BitTorrent encryption is to obfuscate BitTorrent traffic and thereby make it harder for ISPs to detect. This feature was added to a number BitTorrent clients after some ISPs started throttling BitTorrent connections to save bandwidth.
