I find that I am unable to log onto some websites (like State Bank of India) from my MTNL broadband connection. But when I try through proxy server of my company, I am able to easily logon and carry out transaction. Similarly, though I cannot logon to the Bank's website through MTNL broadband, if I log on to some other website (e.g. www.irctc.co.in) and want to make payment using internet banking, I am easily taken to bank's login page and I am able to complete the transaction. Please tell your maximum speed (totalling all downloads ) while downloading torrents via utorrent client/program, so that we can compare each other. I use MTNL Delhi as service provider. My maximum download speed is 95-100 kB/s, when I do have a lot of seeds. My broadband connection speed is around 512 kpps. You can tell your speed of other torrents program, if you dont use utorrent.Upon answers by members, I checked my current broadband speed, and its around 950kbps, not 512kbps. I get interrupted broadband service from my ISP (Internet Service Provider). My ISP is MTNL Delhi. While taking connection they tell us that it is 24-hour service. Hi I hav a problem in mtnl dial up connection. i dial the no. 172231. b4 connecting it shows error no 676:phone line busy several times n after it gets connected it disconnects within a minute. I've 849 NU plan and i've been getting around 190 kBps for ftp download and around 160 for torrents before they had some port problem in last month and my net was cut off for a month. and now when its working again im getting miserable 20-30 kBps for torrents while FTP speeds are good as before. Its not about bad seeding either as authorised VUZE torrents which were coming at cracking speeds before are slowed down to snail's speeds as well. Anyone has an idea why this is happening?
