The most popular post in terms of traffic for this SOA blogsite in 2007 was one that provided a contrarian view to the most closely held belief around SOA: the view that IT is out there alone, killing itself trying to convince the rest of the business of the wonders of SOA. However, as discussed in the post Analyst: IT departments are sabotaging SOA, it is alleged that IT itself may not necessarily be the biggest booster of SOA. ZapThink's Ron Schmelzer laid the blame for SOA inertia right at the doorstep of the folks that are supposed to be its prime advocates — IT departments.
Tight end glad he left Louisiana
I'm not at LSU because I needed to get out of Louisiana," Brown said. "It's tough when you're growing up down there and when everybody from your high school goes there. "You want a different environment, and I really didn't think I fit into their scheme of things down there coming out of high school because I felt like they didn't use the tight end that much." But Brown still hears about his decision four years ago to turn down LSU's offer. Soon after the Vols clinched the SEC East on Saturday, the text messages and calls to Brown's cell phone came in bunches. Most said he should've gone to LSU or told him he'll be "Tiger bait" on Saturday. "Louisiana people are crazy, man," Brown said. "A lot of people don't realize how crazy Louisiana people are. They're diehard LSU fans, just like people here in Knoxville, they're diehard Tennessee fans.
