I use SMTP and php to send emails from my website to users inboxes, but the messages get delivered in spam folders and somethings they do not even get there in the case of googlemail. Well I am also in my 20s and I'm a guy. I'm sure you all already know where I'm going with this. My generation is just.. disconnected from science. Not the IT/PC or "tech" science but the hardcore chem, bio, geo and astro sciences. I'm sitting here watching NASATv as Neil DeGrasse Tyson hosts the Apollo 40th Anniversary Celebration. Where are the women who would also watch this verses MTV or BET? I'm not saying all women watch that but my entire generation does.. on top of that there is ALREADY a shortage of females. Most females I know want to be a model, singer or nurse. I am not interested in these women. I know the obvious answer is to take those classes in college however i am in a community college and even still they just don't seem that "dedicated" like I am. Maybe it is just me, I feel like I will always have to dumb myself down to fit in with peers my age. I am also black, people expect me to know lyrics to the latest lil wayne, drake or jay z song.. i tell them i do not know and they actually walk off or stop talking to me. Usually 80% of the class at this point groups together and finish each other's lyrics (whites, blacks nearly all races included) ... point is there is no one for me to group with and ask if they think pluto is a planet or anything science related for example. In short, I am asking for some advice to find a female as appreciative and obsessive for science as I am. I don't really care about anything else not even sports. I just like the constant discoveries and exploration in science. I feel like I will never find a girl like this considering I'm already in my 20s and the attention span to my gen is getting shorter and shorter. i went to the library and everyone there are only there to find jobs (recession) and I've been to "science clubs" and on top of already being a minority there are never any girls there either. I joined my astronomy society and no girls there.. I hang out at my science museum but no girls there either. I just don't get it! I think the closest thing science related where chicks are would require hanging out at the zoo..I'm American, should I start *considering* Europe? Rumor has it they appreciate (education) science a lot more and dont take it all for granted more so than us in the USA. Sorry this is long! My fiancé’s aunt has offered to host a bridal shower for the groom’s family, along with other aunts and his mother and grandmother. I think this is a very generous gesture since I don’t believe this is typical for their side to do this. For the most part, I don’t mind that there will be 2 showers, however I do feel their family is going a bit overboard and might overshadow the one my family is hosting. First, it sounds much larger and they even have a party room booked for the occasion. I’ve met quite a few members of their family, but there will probably be several people I’ve never met before. Another big problem is that one of my bridesmaids is the groom’s cousin. She was originally set to help my sister (the MOH) out with the planning for the main shower, but now has decided that since she cannot contribute to both parties, she will dedicate her time and finances to the groom’s one. To top it off, they are hosting it the very next day (Sunday). At first I didn’t think it would be too much of a problem, but now I’m worried about how much effort is being put into this one. Members of my fiancé’s family were invited to the one my sister is hosting, but since they are both the same weekend they’ve decided to just attend their own. My fiancé’s mother actually thought it was weird that the bridal party would throw a shower, especially since my sister and her niece are still in college. I haven’t been to many showers, but I just said that my understanding was it was typically the maid of honor’s duty along with the maids and other family members who wanted to help. My mother, aunt, and grandmother will likely help with the shower, but showers in our family tend to be fairly simple with only our closest family and friends at someone’s house, and probably a light lunch or snacks with a few games. I don’t want to get too much involved since this is a nice thing they are doing, but I can’t help feeling like they are stepping a little on my family’s toes, and I feel bad for my sister who is struggling to put hers together. I would like to run a socks5 proxy on a web server from a hosting provider. It is a Linux server, but I do not have shell access. I can run some simple terminal commands (cd, dir, pwd) with a simple php script that uses system() but I can not run ./configure, make, or make install. Is there a way to run socks5 on this server? Resolved Question: AVG Firewall And Windows Firewall Questions?

Hey, I have a few questions. I want to host a dedicated Mount&Blade Warband server, however, it seems that no one can find my game on the list. I have port forwarded correctly (I think), added the exceptions to my windows firewall, disabled my AVG Firewall and enabled my windows firewall. The port M&B Warband uses is 7240 and 7241 for steam versions. I have forwarded 7240 and tried with 7241 at the same time as well with no success. The current router here is a DLINK G604T. Is there anything I may have missed in port opening and forwarding? more

Resolved Question: My Mail servers IP is blacklisted - Shared hosting - apparently have to upgrade - is this right?

It appears a customer using the same host as me on the same server (shared hosting) has caused that servers mail server IP to be blacklisted. My host is telling me it isn't that easy to find out who has caused the spam, and the only way around is to upgrade to either a dedicated IP or a dedicated hosting package. Is this right, or should they be able to find out who has caused the problem. I don't like the idea of having to pay for something when its the fault of someone else. Thanks in advance. more

I made a private server for a game called "jade dynasty" I have it on Redhat linux but its only a comand prompt that i use to host it from my house using VMware. I need to buy server hosting because there are hundreds of people on my server. Im only a kid and i dont really know about hosting and such from a dedicated server provider. The video (.wmv) played with an embedded windows media player is 270mb (too large), while the same video as a flash (.swf) file is only 20mb, but doesn't load properly.
