Open Question: Where can I set up an online store that is easy to set up and cheap?

I like how Yahoo offers online stores and it includes everything like: domain name, hosting, choice of template/color schemes, easy addition of products, etc, but i don't like its monthly price ($40 + 1.5% of sales). Are than any other companies that provide all-inclusive services similar to these, but are cheaper than Yahoo? I looked into using stuff like zencart, but it seems like it will take a long time to get everything setup and running properly, and i dont really want to buy and domain name and pay for hosting only to have a bunch of problems getting the shopping cart software up and running correctly. So i'm kind of leaning towards something that's easier to setup - like yahoo or something similar. The only requirements that i will really need is the ability to list about 15 products (going up to about 50 max) as well as being able to accept paypal and credit cards.And i already use ebay and sites like that, im looking to set up an online store, not just sell on other sites... more

What group is statistically most at risk to have their land seized by the local or state government in eminent domain? I have an exceptionally large (for the area) piece of land that I live on and some of it is used for a high-sustainability working farm, but the rest is untouched, largely woods, fields, wetland and riverbank. The land was bought by some ancestor or another in the 1850's-1860's when absolutely nothing was out here and land was cheap, and ended up in my possession when my remaining family on that side died off. Development in the area has been rapid since the late 80's and 90's and is still going strong, there's a few farmers in this area that have held on but it encroaches more every year. It's one of the largest, if not the largest, undivided private properties in the area, and I want to keep it that way. If anything is developed here at all beyond what already is planned (a small number of low-impact, sustainably developed homes under 99 year leases, complete planning permissions), it will be developed by us, not a giant corporation. I don't want to sell out to a developer and have this beautiful place built over with a few housing tracts full of soulless environmentally destructive McMansions around a golf course. Is there any way to legally protect it from development or seizure now and for the future, when my children inherit it, that doesn't involve making it totally public land or giving up my rights to it by sale or otherwise? Or is it just something I don't need to worry about? more

I bought all the different domains so that searches for "natural cure", "home cure", etc. will pull up the respective domain name in the organic results, (and then display the page title and summary info for that site) I know that identical content on different domains can get me banned from search engines. my office has internet access, it shared with every staff. The problem is some staff are likely to chat, play facebook, etc... i would like to create a network policy for certain user to unable to access specific domain, like technicians will unable to access facebook while sales team can. i only would like to monitor the traffic so staff will not able to download large file or play torrent which can cause slow internet connection. Also like to monitor sites they visit (log files) so they unable to access site that don't correlated with their duty (like porn sites, etc). i have windows server install (currently it act for internet sharing and file server only). Voting Question: Is Risk in the public domain?

On the bottom of this wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Risk_game is a list of "Unofficial Risk versions" Wouldn't those be copyright infringements? Some of them are for sale. According to that same page, Risk was created in 1957, outside of the United States. According to the U.S. Copyright Office's Circular 15a (http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ15a.pdf) "Works originally copyrighted between January 1, 1950, and December 31, 1963: Copyrights in their first 28-year term on January 1, 1978, still had to be renewed in order to be protected for the second term. If a valid renewal registration was made at the proper time, the second term will last for 67 years. However, if renewal registration for these works was not made within the statutory time limits, a copyright originally secured between 1950 and 1963 expired on December 31st of its 28th year, and protection was lost permanently." Surely Parker Brothers would have renewed the copyright on a cash cow like Risk...but that's a guess....plus I'm not sure how being invented outside of the U.S. would effect the copyright. I though wiki was pretty strict about avoiding illegal, stolen, or plagiarized work, so them allowing a listing of unofficial Risk's makes me think they know something I don't know. Voting Question: Is it a good idea to sell my domain names on ebay?

I have a few good domain names that I cant afford to develop right now. I was told by an associate of mine that the best thing that I can do is put them on Ebay with a starting prie of .99 with a seven day auction. IDK about this..I can see how if I get the right people interested a bidding war is possible...but the flip side is that it could sell for less than what I paid for it. The domains are not aged but they are keyword targeted and good within their niche. I have them for sale and parked on Sedo already..what do you think of this Ebay idea? more
