Ok so my laptop hard drive self destructed last night (well sort of) and I lost all my stuff. Got a new desktop PC and managed to recover all music and videos off my iPod but can't seem to get photos back. I searched for some tips but it just comes up with downloads and different software. I did find one that displayed all my lost photos but because it was only a free trial I could only get back the first 6! Why should I have to pay to get my photos back? Open Question: iPod wont sync, not enough access privelages!?

Hi guys, I recently followed a video on youtube on how to get the iPod 3.0 firmware for free since i didn't feel that it was right to make me pay £2.99 for the upgrade even though its free on iPhones. Anyway, i downloaded and installed this software following the video perfectly and then when i go to sync my iPod i get like 100 odd songs going on and then it tells me I "don't have enough access privileges for this operation." Recently it is saying "syncing iPod" for about 5 minutes and nothing except apps will go on, this is really frustrating as i have 400 odd songs that wont go on my iPod! I also decided to just buy the new firmware (3.1.2) and save the hassle of having what could be illegal firmware on my iPod, but low and behold i don't have enough access privileges for that either. I have followed some guides on the internet (deleting "iPod photo cache" etc.) but none of them work! Any help will be welcome, Andy. more

I got an iPod touch, 32gb, for christmas with a £15 iTunes voucher card. I've redeemed the card, after much effort. And I've sorted my other payment method which is declined five times but is now, sorted. And I just got a few apps, ones free the other has been paid for. But, it refuses to sync? Or I dont know how to make it. Ive tried syncing it a few times but when I check its not there. I'm looking for a video converter to put my DVDs on to my iPod. I was using the free trial for Total Video Converter on my old PC but I can't find it for Mac. Some of the video converters I've downloaded are complicated to use. They ask me to convert a file but there are loads of files on the dvd and i don't know which one to select. So I'm looking for a Video Converter for Mac that's simple to use and is free. Please don't recommend ones that you have to pay for. I just got an iPod touch, love it, hate the iTunes software. My computer is fuuull of movies, downloaded, burned, copied from home DVD collection, etc. No way in heeeeell am I gonna go repurchase them from the istore for 20$+ each or whatever. I read that i can just drag and drop, copy paste, or go to file add file to library for each video into the iTunes movies section, none of this works, don't suggest it. There not protected or locked or any of that crap either. I never get an error message when trying to add them, nothing. Straight up nothing happens. It fiiiinally donned on me, all my videos are .wmv or .avi format, apple uses that pain in the ass QuickTime. So do I have to convert all the videos before iTunes will recognize them? If so, what format must they be converted to, and does anyone recommend a good FREE software that won't screw up my originals? This is all so frustrating, thanks in advance for the help.i tried downloading both the avs converter and the wondershare converter that you guys suggested, looks like they work amazing, but i dont have the registration info? the free trial only gives me 5 minutes of video and 3 minutes of audio, i need to do entire movies! does anybody have that info? where to find it? i really need the help :/ and fast. i need something that works and is totally free! not just a trial! more

Hi, I just got the new video camera chromatic ipod nano. It's a great upgrade from my little shuffle thingy. I recently downloaded Altysoft video converter, and it worked fine for a while for converting my videos to mp4. After that, a registration thing came up. I clicked No thanks, but that was so that I didn't upgrade to professional. The conversions still worked after that. A few days later, the converter would convert the videos, but then when it finished, the converted video file would disappear. I have just converted 3 videos - not one of them has worked so far. Is it because I didn't register? I doubt it - because when the thing popped up, I ran my mouse over the No thanks button, and it only said "don't upgrade me to professional" or something. Is it a problem with the video?? I don't know - how do you check? I also need to find a FREE flv to mp4 converter.
