so i got a brand new pioneer receiver ( vsx-1019ah) and then i got a vizio lcd tv to watch like music videos and live concerts on but i keep getting a delay between the audio and video (its hard to tell some times which is faster but i think the picture is im not sure) i have gone into the setting on both the receiver and tv to try to fix it but but im still getting a delay, im playing the videos through my ipod which is set up through the Receiver, what do i do? by the way the ipod is connected by the usb and video they give you with the receiver and the tv is connected to the Receiver by an hdmi cable thanks for your help more

Voting Question: my ipod touch still plays and syncs to itunes but, I got no video display?

After changing the digitizer my screen started dimming, until it went completely black . Then I changed the LCD I still have a black screen. I still can hear the music play, but with a black screen I cannot do nothing. I did try to reset it with no success. Can anyone have a suggestion? more

I'm am looking at buying a new Ipod. I'm am debating getting the new 160GB classic or the 16GB nano. Since you can watch movies on both of them I was wondering if the Nano would work in the dark since it has an TFT screen instead of the Classics LCD??? I was also wondering if either of them can take photo's? I know the nano takes videos but I was wondering if it can also take just plain photos? Any other help would be nice. Voting Question: HDMI video but Component Audio for PS3?

I have a Dynex 40" 1080p LCD screen which I am quite satisfied with because it has 3 hdmi ports. I decided I'd like to hook my ps3 up using hdmi, but I have encountered one problem with it. Sure, the video and audio is great, but since hdmi is one single cable for audio and video, I can't connect my ipod in place of either the left or right speaker. Basically, when I used components on my 720p projector, I would have the left speaker on the game/ps3's audio cord while my ipod was connected to the right. That way, I could play games while listening to my ipod through the tv. Unfortunately, this doesn't work too well with hdmi. I looked in the ps3 menu and there's a multi audio input option, but I still can't get my ipod to play through the component cable inputs. Any ideas? I tried tinkering in the Dynex menu, but there aren't many audio options other than an equalizer and such.I don't have room to do so. I'd rather just play my ipod through my crappy side speakers. I want to hear it through my tv though, trust me, it's so much better more

Ok so I have two set of parents, step mom and dad, step dad and mom. My mom said I could ask for one big present for christmas, like electronics. Same with my dad. I still will get a lot of other presents to, just not like stuff over $100. So basically I can get two big presents. So heres the deal, I already have and ipod nano 4g purple, but the new nano with the video camera looks pretty cool. And having an ipod touch would be pretty amazing cuz it would have all the amazing apps on it, but i have heard that they are going to be coming out with a new one with a camera on:/ I don't want it to get outdated right away if I get it! I am looking to connect a cable box to an extra LCD computer monitor I have laying around. I know that's not the most ideal set-up, but it's only for a home office and will be used temporarily until we move to something bigger and better. I have the video cable figured out as both the box and monitor can use the DVI connection. But what should I use for the audio connection? The monitor only has a standard mini stereo input. i need a new player, and i am looking for a player with a big screen and capacity. iPod Touch has wifi and other many apps, but has a LCD screen and can play video for only 5-6 hours. The Classic is a monster, with 160 gig, but the small screen is unattractive. Cowon S9 uses flash, has a AMOLED screen with 16 million colors for great movies, and few apps. superb music quality, plus memory stick and plays most codecs. no wifi Zune HD OLED screen, but quality is not that of Cowon S9, but has wifi. I would like to repair my husbands 30 G iPod Video for him for Christmas this year, and don't know where to go. It needs the battery, LCD, and front and back replaced (they're badly scratched). Its dead right now, and when I plug it into my computer, itunes does not recognize it, it does not turn on, and it doesn't even charge. I tried the USB cord on my iPod Video and it worked fine, so it can't be the cord. I tried Home + Power and nothing happened. The LCD has broken pixels, but even if the screen was completely dead wouldn't it still charge the battery and show up in itunes? I have an iPod video 5.5 generation and I opened it up to replace the LCD. However, when I went to disconnect the hard drive, the black clip that snaps down to keep the hard drive connector cable connected to the logic board crumbled. Any ideas on how I can connect to the cable to the logic board without actually replacing the logic board itself? more

I just bought Xilisoft DVD to iPod converter which makes mp4 video files from dvd and Im trying to find out what is the best setting to convert the dvds into mp4 for use on a a new Sony 52" lcd tv using an external hard drive without being poor quality video and sound yet a reasonable file size. The resolution selections are min 320x240 and max of 640x480, with 5 levels of quality for video and sound, from poor to excellent. Im trying to keep the average movie to about 1 - 1.5gig so If anyone has this program and uses it to make videos for use on a tv or could even recommend a setting or aprox file size that would be great. i have found new MP3s in ebay for really cheap prices, like 20 - 25 $, also with free shipping. Right. My family has three TVs in the house, we use two of these for our PS2 - one in the lounge and one in the "Rumpas Room". We recently upgraded our lounge one from an LCD we have had for several years to a Samsung HDTV Plasma. Pretty big (I think about 50"+? Not sure of exact). Well, our rumpas room one has stuffed up. The visual cablehead plug in is broken and the Playstation does not work. We have tried with the videocamera, iPod and other Playstations among others, so we know it's not a problem with the Playstation. The Playstation works on our main TV, which should be all fine and dandy, yeah? Well... it's not. We play Singstar and Guitar Hero HEAPS. With Guitar Hero, only the second one can be calibrated (we have the first & second) and even that's not too nice to play on, and none of the Singstars can be (well, at least out of Original, Pop and Party.) Is there anything I can do to stop this lag? With the current economy we may not end up getting our "PS2 TV" in the rumpas fixed, and it's nice to actually be able to play our games... Ok well i have the mini ipod with a screen. its small and almost a square. so i was listening to music and then i noticed that the power level had just turned redish from green. so i have a white charger that says griffin on it. and so i plug it in after turning it off. and then my ipod screen goes white. no matter whether the the charger is in it or out or what button i push it says white. so i unplug the charger from it and leave it alone figuring it will go dead soon. i chack on it a couple hours later and the screen is green and at the top its says:iPod diagnostics BuildID: d002 SVC Sep 10 2007 V.0072 and under it says: >Power Sleep Audio Video LCD 10 (or IO couldn't tell) Memory Touchwheel About It wont let me click anything or go anywhere. its like its frozen. does anyone know what going on???ok so i manully reset it by pressing menu and the center button and the it turned off. and now it says to conect to power but when i do it does nothing. more

hello, my problem is this, i got my ipod in january, and there have always been a couple of things that i find a little annoying, like a tiny pixel at the left center of the screen that seems to be stuck or something because it always appears lighter and it wont go away, ive tried playing videos with full brightness and a couple of apps that are supposed to fix this but nothing so far. the other thing is a little less noticeable but there is about three darker blemishes on the lcd and one of them is right in the center, these blemishes seem to get darker the longer you look at the screen, like when im playing videos and games or just using safari. so for the last 3 months i have been putting off going to the apple store and have this looked at, because i am a huge procrastinator. my question is, are these sort of problems covered by the warranty, meaning can i go to the store and exchange it for a new ipod? more

I sold some of my broken iPod parts on eBay a few months back, and made about 55dollars from the HDD and LCD. I thought that was pretty cool so I went and brought a broken iPod nano for 40dollars, fixed it and sold it for 80dollars, making a tidy profit. I bought 2 more ipods of this same guy and have been unable to fix them. so I sold them today for a loss of 40dollars approximately. So I am grateful I am not bankrupt and have just come back to where I started without dying which is kinda ok. So now that I have about 65 dollars (25 of my pocket money) to play with, I am really keen to start back up my small scheme I had going again, but this time I want to make a profit with little risk of making losses, like my iPods. I was thinking buying clothes or dvds or video games on sale and selling them for profit, but I am only 14 and I don't have a bulging wallet and dont have time to be going to the shops all the time.
