Ok, I'll start by saying, I am not against porn. I do not mind watching occasionally, and it doesn't bother me that my boyfriend watches occasionally. Key word: OCCASIONALLY. Well, both of us have the iPod touch, which allows us to be on the internet and we can share videos, pics, etc. So the other night I was using his iPod and he was using mine (we trade sometimes so we don't have to download stuff twice) anyway, I was looking through some of his pics and he has hundreds of pics of naked chics, some in very very raunchy poses, with and without "props". For some reason, it just dies about 20 minutes after it's unplugged no matter how long you charge it and even if it's not in use. I took it to an apple store but the warrantee is up so they told me they don't really do repairs, they just kept pressuring me to buy a new ipod, which i don't want to do. they try to trick you into believing that trading in your old one for 10% off is a good deal. ANYWAY, I found some sites that offer new batteries, and instructions and tools for installing them. In all honesty though, I'm not sure if these sites are reliable, or if the battery is even the real problem. Maybe there's a short, for example, which is what killed the battery. I don't know anything about electronics. So could you recommend a good site for these type of things, or if you think it's better to get a new mp3 player altogether, which do you recommend and why? Alrite so I traded this kid an Ipod video for an itouch (he wanted more memory). And now he wants to trade back. I agreed to trade back because it was only fair. Just last night after I got home I went into my room and picked the Itouch up and turned it on. It was on the loading screen when I noticed that something was dirpping out of the side of it. It turns out it was spilled coke that I hadn't noticed on my dresser. I tried to turn it off but when the 'slide to power off' bad came up, the touch screen would not work! Eventually the screen blinked white a few times and then went black. I also noticed that the bottom left corner of the itouch got really hot, so I think something fried. I have an ipod classic that's 120g. I was thinking of selling it to buy either the 8gb ipod touch or 16gb Nano with the new camera put in. Which should I get? I'm probably going to sell my ipod classic around $200. Reason I want to trade in my ipod classic is because of it being big and bulky. I love the memory it has but I don't think I'll need that much memory. I have an average of 300 songs i put on the ipod and a few videos/pictures. I would like the ipod touch because of the touchscreen and web. I like how it's thin but not the height.. But I don't like the memory of being so low. I also don't like the mirror on the back. It could easily get scratched and I have to buy a case which is around $5-20. The ipod touch has many features and applications I'd like to try. I would also like the new Nano because the Nano is a lot smaller and thinner making it easier for me to carry around. I don't have to buy a case since it has a less chance of breaking and there's no mirror for it to get scratch. A camera in it would be great for taking pictures/video anywhere so I don't have to bring an actual camera to waste the space in my pocket. I don't have too much information on the built in camera but I think it's going to be a good one. The nano is about $179.00 and the ipod touch is $199.00. I think I could easily sell my ipod for the money to buy either one of them. Please help me out! I'm having a hard time figuring out which one I should buy. more

The Zune HD looks awesome had has a few awesome features like hD radio, 720 HD output, web browser and OLED display, even has better audio quality than iPods HOWEVER iPod Classic is more space and more established (docks in cars and sound systems.) Would 32 gigs even be practical on a "HD" device? What thats like 2 (blurray) movies if you already have like 16 gigs of music? So recently i spilt some coke over my laptop and am going to ring up DELL and see what they can do. Now this has got me thinking. Should i trade my laptop for a (in my eyes) better piece of equipment, a desktop computer. The situation: I wanted a new TV for my xbox 360, i was planning on getting one for christmas as i get a £300 balance for christmas to spend on what i want. Now if i got a new desktop, i could buy the cable which allows me to use the monitor as the TV screen and then use the surround sound i have in my room as the sound output. I was thinking to increase the amount of money i have to do this, i could sell my ipod classic 120gb, some xbox 360 games and other stuff i can find worth selling. Which in total would mean selling a 1 year old laptop, an ipod classic (which i dont exactly need), some xbox games that i dont play on, to buy a desktop computer. I also noticed how desktops have more possibilities in the field of specification improvement (e.g. ram upgrade, better graphic/video cards). But then i have to convince my parents to let me do this. more

My 80GB iPod Classic doesn't work, it syncs fine, until about four gigs in, then it goes really slow, and when I try to watch video on it, it freezes. Resolved Question: My friend stole my ipod touch and sold it what can i do?

it happened when i went to his house we were playing video games and i went to the washroom .when i came back i saw my ipod on a table but i didn't take it out of the bag i brought .i ignored it and kept playing. then later when i was getting picked up i forgot to put the ipod back in my bag .that same night i left a message on his answering machine telling my friend i left my ipod there. he called me the next day and told he never saw it that he was looking for it .that day my other friend told me that my friend (the one that stole the ipod) had told him that he stole it and traded the ipod for a bunch of valuable trading cards .so i don't know what to do i don't know if i should tell my parent tell him or tell the police oh and the ipod was a 2 generation 16G ipod with a case it cost me like 400 bucks. more

Resolved Question: changing 5th generation ipod for newer version?

i have a black 5th generation ipod that holds 7500 songs and plays video. It is really big compared to other ipods and i have had it for 3 + years. I want to get a newer smaller ipod, since i dont really use the video anyway......i was wondering if i could trade it in, or if apple can keep the memory of the ipod so that i can still have the 7500 songs and just design a smaller one for me. Bcuz i feel that if i trade in, i am losing bcuz the capacity of songs the newer ipod can take will b less. i just need something pretty, slick, and small that i can listen to music from....what should/can i do? more
