SO I have a working I-Pod Video first generation 30 gigabytes...but it's old and now everybody has one of those nice new I- Pod Touches. I have too many videos and songs for the 8 gigabyte... and the 32 looks like it can hold more videos and applications than the 16 gigabyte. Im taking a 30 hour trip in car this month and my dilemma is whether or not to bite the bullet and buy an i-pod touch. then if i should get an ipod touch how many gigabytes? Resolved Question: My "Others" section shows too much filling so how do I access it to get it down?

I was syncing my iPod with some songs and films but after I disconnected it, it showed that it had actually automatically deleted songs as well as add on the new ones. I then realized that I had exactly the same amount of space left even though it had deleted so much. I then realized that there was a 30 gigabyte space being taken up in the "Other" section even though I have no calendars or notes. The amount of space in the "others" more or less levels out with the amount deleted. I want to be able to access the "Others", or to find a way of getting it back into "Audio" and "Video". How can I do it????? more

Voting Question: Ipod touch YouTube stuff acting wierd?

Hi, I've been having difficulty with my iPod touch's YouTube app. I watch a video for 10-30 seconds and the bid just stops and pauses and then won't runt properly and will keep stopping every few seconds after I push play again. I am using my linksys n-gigabyte router model no. WRT310N. On my iPod it is giving me 3 Full arcs of connection. Even videos that I watch from the safari app spazz out and get messed up. Hey whats up everybody. My cousin's friend is selling a 80 Gigabyte classic for 80 bucks. It's pretty much brand new, but I wanted to know if it was a good deal, since It was hard to find how much it sells today since it came out a while back. Hello, I recently got a 30 gigabyte Ipod video and am going to be going to the gym frequently. I have some nice premium Zune headphones and am ready to go. My only problem is - my music is extremely outdated. In the rock genre I like bands like Papa Roach, Celldweller (Switcback and I believe you) , I like some SOiL songs and N.E.R.D. has one song I like, which is the remix of rockstar. I like Super massive black hole from Muse, that song straight to video from . In the Metal genre, I like Rammstein, Dragonforce, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, Rob Zombie, System of a down (some songs), Nirvana (one song - Lithium). I'd like to note, that I don't like disturbed too much... or Korn, or Drowning pool. In the techno genre, I like the song "Falling" by First state featuring Anita Kelsey, "Drifting away" by Lange, Prodigy. Ah, and I forgot to mention, I like that one album - eMOTIVE by A Perfect Circle. Please post if you know of any artists/songs of this caliber.I'm looking to fully load my Ipod, so please, any and all songs that are as good as they ones I listen to, feel free to post. I'm looking to fill my Ipod with enough music for me to basically not get bored for a long time. Please post loads of artist as good as the ones I listen to. more

It is a black video ipod, 30 gigabytes. There are some scratches on the back because i never used a cover.. umm i dropped it once on the street when i was running real fast and the left corner is a bit scratched and the teeniest bit chipped. the most damage measured on that section is actually pretty minimal, you could not notice it unless you turn it to the side. I would just like to know how much it would sell for? I am saving up for the ipod touch. :) thanks. more

Right now I'm debating on whether to get a 8 gigabyte (2,000 songs) Microsoft Zune or a 30 gigabyte (7,500 songs) Microsoft Zune. What should I get? And before you say the 30 gigabyte because it holds more songs, my problem is is that the 30 gigabyte is as big as an ipod video (which is what I think would bother me...) and holds more songs (plus side), and the 8 gigabyte is as big as a regular ipod, but holds less songs.EDIT: And I probably wouldn't use video... more

Well one guy offered a 55, its quite old it holds water ad it has metal around it or w/e but its been outside and the metals rusted/ its 25 dollars o.b.o. Than another lady fferd a 65g for 50 bucks it has no stand... And id have to locate hooods for either of these. OR Should i trade my ipod video 30 gigabytes for a complete 55 gallon aqaurium. Right now i just cant afford store prices, Ill be giving up two of my oscars although i would really like to have a pair..... Sometime last week I made the decision to take the plunge and buy an iPhone. I've been jazzed about it all week and was planning on picking it up after I got paid on Friday. But upon getting home today I found out Apple just released a 16 gigabyte version; twice the capacity of the original. So now I'm debating whether or not to spend the extra hundred bucks or not. 8 gigs doesn't seem like very much space, but 16 gigs isn't going to hold my entire collection either. I do already have a 30 gig iPod video that I planned on keeping around for those times I want my ENTIRE library on-hand (like roadtrips and whatnot), but even that is nearing capacity.I should also probably point out that 100% certain that I'm buying an iPhone either way. I have a 4 gigabyte iPod nano. The old version. It's a loyal little thing, but It's compleatley full, and I still have music and photo surpluss. And I never use the contacts/calendar/nike+ or any of those other iPod goodies. Just photos and music. Anywhoo, I was thinking about getting a Zune. I really want it for videos and more music space. Also, I think you can set photos as backgrounds, so that's always cool. Anywhoo, should I make the upgrade? And if so, which one should I get? Whether you've owned the 30 or 60 GB ipod video from day one or later upgraded to a 80 GB, aren't you a little mad the new ipod's "itouch" capacity is only 16 GB? The rumors of a wide screen ipod with touch screen capabilities have been floating around for quite a while ( long before the iphone was ever introduced ) so I was patiently waiting for the announcment of the next gen ipod and to my demise they went with a slimmer, more compact, "flash drive" with less memory. From what I've read the cost per gigabyte of flash memory is significantly higher than that of hard drives so if Apple is going to release a 30/60 GB version of the itouch they better not raise the price. more
