I haven't used it in awhile, so it's been untouched for about three months. I recently tried using it again and it does not turn on. I can't figure out why, my Ipod is no where near water, nothing heavy is on top of it. I figured maybe i accidentally left it on, so maybe it died. It takes about four hours to charge it fully. Whenever I play video on it, the battery indicator shows that I've already used most of it. When I connect my Ipod to my laptop, the battery indicates that the ipod is in low power even if it was from half of the whole battery. Voting Question: 80Gig Classic iPod or upgrade to 64gig iPod touch?

My iPod is my favorite device. I had one of the earliest generations for 30GB but later bought my own 80GB with video and all that good stuff. I was so grateful for that upgrade! Now a few years later I'm on the thresh-hold of perhaps getting the iPod touch and need some help deciding. Main concern: Less Space I currently have 30+GB of music, but could easily add just as much in video even though right now I am only using about 40Gigs total and it would fit on the 64. What's the chances of them coming out with an 80gig or higher soon and is it worth the wait? Battery life : I heard the battery life is less, but I suppose I could get a car charger to help... Less important: Ease of commands while not looking at the device. I am used to skipping songs or doing basic controls while the iPod is in my pocket or next to me in the car when I am driving and I do not have to look at it by feel of the buttons. How convenient is the touch navigation? I am interested in the voice activation but may be using my own ear phones which would make that pointless. If you do shake to shuffle can it do the next song or at least a song within the same playlist or artist? I would hate to be surprised too much as I have an extremely wide variety of music... and what about if it shakes accidentally? FEATURES I'M INTERESTED IN FOR IPOD TOUCH: WiFi/internet when available. Bigger screen for videos. Applications such as for games, dictionary, etc. E-books - currently do this, but only using a program that breaks it up into a 200+ text notes Genius mixes - I really like this feature in iTunes. Searching - it's a big headache to scroll through the alphabet and even worse to scroll through my entire collection of music. I am pretty sure I will convert to the touch eventually no matter what, but wonder if it would be worth waiting just a bit longer? I wouldn't even consider the 32GB or less models when they were the only ones available. more

alright. so i got a new red ipod nano on christmas(shoots video...you know) and recently (last tuesday) it stopped working? i have no clue what happened? it only works when it's on the charger and before you say, "well maybe it just needs charged stupid!", it doesn't need charged. bc when it IS on the charger it's telling me it is fully charged already. so when i "correctly" disconnect it, it turns right off and WON'T turn back on. it works perfectly fine when it's on the charger too. i can listen to music, shoot video and EVERYTHING, but when i unplug it, BAM, it stops working. i've already tried holding in the middle and menu button, but STILL nothing....=( i have a warranty on it for 1 year, but i want to make sure i tried everything before i send it in. anyone have any ideas? and the battery is not shot either, i've only charged it about 7 times for one hour between the time of christmas and last tuesday.well sorry, but i thought i made it clear. Alright so I just got a buncha movies on my ipod. I also bought a TV to Mp3 AV A/V VIdeo Cable Cord to watch my movies on my tv. it works great, but the wire that i bought doesn't charge my ipod while i watch the movies. I can only watch movies as long as my batter life is. The cord I have plugs into the bottom of my ipod and then into my tv. So is there any way to charge my ipod? i.e a charger that charges through your headphone jack if thats possible or like a charger that still gives you that plug in the bottom of your ipod? So today my iPod just randomly decided it was going to stop working... Seriously. It won't turn on. I didn't drop it, spill water on it, or do anything else that would damage it. In fact, I used it just 4 hours ago and it was fine. Also, I have one of the square-ish video nanos, and I only got it 2 years ago, so its not that old. For Christmas I got an ipod nano 5G (The one with the video camera and the speaker and all that). I havent even had it for 2 weeks and it is messed up! it was working perfectly when i first started using it but today i just uploaded like a lot of songs and put them on my ipod and then when i started listening to it i realized the sound was messed up. Its like this distant sound, i really can't describe it but the best way i can is that it is a really low quality speaker. well i unpluged the head phone to make sure it wasnt them, and i put the ipod on speaker and the sound was still the same so i don't think that its the ear phones. also when i turn up the volume it stays the same. I just downloaded and installed updates for the ipod and i'm leaving it on the charger to see if that helps. Can ANYONE! please help me out with this! The ipod will only charge a tiny bit but when i put it in the charger it says its fully charged showing that plug. iPod Nano 4th generation 4GB it has been used. It works pretty well. There are some scratches and dents but it doesn't affect the quality of the iPod itself. Canon 1000x digital video camcorder it can take pictures, take video, take tape, take SD multimedia card, and it zooms. It isn't in perfect condition. It still works amazingly. There is no charger with it though. My sister lost the charger for it. iDog. It is hot pink. In PERFECT condition. It has a chord for it to plug into iPod. Nintendo DS. It is the older version. I got it in 2006 or 2007. It works good, but the screen has a few scratches. It has a car charger. But my dog chewed up the house charger. It has 2 games that I can find. Nintendogs and Kim Possible. I just got the new IPod Nano(one with the video camera). I had my girlfriend put songs on it since she already has unlimited ITunes. So she gave it back with 853 songs on it, it charged and worked perfectly until a few days ago. My desktop and my moms laptop won't recognize the USB cable making it unable to be charged. I tried using my moms IPhone charger(USB) but neither computer recognized that too. What do I do? I'm going to New York(4 hour car drive) on Monday, if I don't get my current Nano to work I'm going to have to return it for a new one and re-upload all my songs(and with my INCREDIBLE[sarcasm to the power of infinity] computer skills that will take forever). If someone could give me step-by-step instructions on what to do, if there's anything to do, that would be amazing. Also I have Windows XP if that helps any more

I am getting a new IPod Touch for Christmas. I have never even owned anything 'Apple' so I may need some help. First I just have a couple questions: 1. From the looks of online videos it doesn't come with a charger. Is this true or am I missing something? 2. I hear it comes with a 'Dock' if im not mistaken. What is that? 3. Do Screen protectors keep you from 'touching' the screen? Like you have to take it off every time you need to 'touch' the screen to get it working. 4. When I was at the store I thought I saw 'Hard Covers' for them. Like a harder tougher screen that goes on over the screen to prevent from the screen from shattering. Are they different from screen protectors? If so do you recommend using them together at the same time? Lastly, what is your favorite protection case. I hear there are ones like 'rebel' and 'flicker'. So, what type and color cases do you recommended most for the best protection (like from you dropping and breaking it) or just look the prettiest to you? Voting Question: An ebay seller wont give my money back from an ipod i bought, help!!?

I bought an ipod, 5th gen 60gig video one, new but it didn’t come in fancy packaging for $212 in late Aug 09. It worked fine for a couple of weeks but turned off completely, I tried resetting etc, look on ipod sites and stuff, it is apparently a fault with that kind of ipod. I put it on wall charger and it worked, I went on the train for 40 mins, listened, turned it off then when I went to listen to it again on the train home it wouldn’t turn on again. I emailed the guy, saying it wont turn on etc, not happy. He said send it back and ill give you a refund. I sent it back 3 weeks ago and he has received it, sends me an email saying it is fully functioning and he would prefer to send it back to me, but if I would like a refund he would give me one. It is not fully functioning, otherwise I would be listening to my ipod every day, why would I buy an ipod to send it back? I don’t think he wants to give me my money back because then he cant resell it as brand new, but its not working it the first place. It has now been a week since I replied to his email saying I want my money back. I havnt heard from him and I havnt gotten the refund. What should I do? more

Okay I'm doing an advertising project school and I need a good commercial skit for it. Okay the product I am selling is called Ipod V. (Its an I pod touch) The V stands for video. You can record videos on it pretty cool right. But thats not all. You can also go to an application on it thats called Charger. Basically what you do is go to it turn the application on and quit out and your i pod will charge by its self. And when its done charging you can turn it off. Voting Question: Help regarding an iPod video 60gb.?

I have an iPod 60 gb that won't turn on anymore. I plug it in my friend's car and it was working fine, it still had battery and i left it there for about 2 hrs, now it won't turn on. I don't really know what happen to it. I tried charging it using the computer and the charger it won't even light up. Is it really broken or I can still do something about it? more
