okay, how to I not be friends with my friend anymore? Without telling him. Is it okay if I just ignore his emails and chats etc. He calls me to invite me over to his house, last time I did that, we said maybe 5 words to each other. He just led me to his room, and sat down at his laptop. The End. I do not bother making conversation with him. "Hi, how were exams?" "okay." end of conversation. "Hi, read any good books lately?" "nah" end of conversation. "Hey, what are you doing?" "Stuff" end of conversation. That day, he was also using headphones the entire time. I just looked at the clock the entire time, and after an hour and a half, I left, my parents allowed me to stay 4 hours. The walk home was more interesting. Basically, he never asks me to hang out, just invites me over to his house, where the above happens. I ask him to go to the movies, when we go to a restaurant, he pulls out his laptop. At the movies, he pulls out his iPod halfway through. I never email him, but he still emails me every now and then pointless stuff, like links to random youtube videos, links to random sites, but most importantly, he emails me links to extremely inappropiate sites/pictures. I don't even bother clicking the links. He is way to shy to actually just call me to chat, and I would never call him because he doesn't talk. I guess thats the main thing, he doesn't talk, he just uses his laptop and/or ipod the entire time we're together. When people hang out, what do they do? They talk. i'm never going to his house again so from now on, I'll say no, I can't whenever he invites me. Every time he requests an internet chat, I pretend not to notice (actually, sometimes I actually don't notice). I unfriended him on Facebook (he has 2 friends now on facebook, one is his dad). Do you think he will get the message and not invite me over anymore? Actually, i don't want to be friends anymore, but he doesn't go to the same school as me anymore so i don't have to see him. If i keep declining offers, I will never have to see him. So, if I don't talk to him, always say no, don't notice him, will he stop requesting to do stuff? I just don't want to see him ever again, no, I'm not mad, just annoyed. He has nno other friends and I know I seem cruel, but you do not know what it is like to be friends with someone who totally ignores you when you're over to his house, a friend that doesn't talk at all. He has no other friends, but he is fine that way. Well, actually, he has one other friend, but they only talk at school. he seems fine on his own. I don't want to be friends with him anymore, will he get it if I just don't talk to him anymore? Like not chatting with him, not responding to his emails, and not going over to his house? Seriously, I looked at this pile of crap recently, and all I could do was get angry at Apple. What were they thinking? Did they just tape 4 iPod touches together to come up with this? It's the exact same but for a giant. It's very uncreative, and an insult to technology. iPad's spec's: 1ghz CPU, 16 - 64 GB HDD, 9.7inch XGA screen, Mono sound, no USB's no SD slots, no PC card, not even a damned headphone jack! HP TC 1100's spec's (made 7 years ago as a similar touch screen device like iPad) 1.2ghz CPU, 40 - 80GB HDD, 10.4inch XGA screen, stereo sound, 2 USB's, 2 SD slots, 1 PC Card, an RJ45, RJ11, VGA video output and the god-damned headphone jack too the HP TC 1100 from 7 f*cking years ago beats this piece of crap iPad, and no doubt a fraction of it's price nowadays, and Apple seriously expect it's fanbase to buy into iPad? iPad? I'm a college freshman and I live in a triple. Currently, I have been having some problems with one of my roommates. For the past quarter everything was cool with one of my roommates. Until now. For the past quarter, I tolerated my roommate's living behaviors-he leaves his clothes all over the floor, his books and papers are all over his desk and also on the floor, and he buys shoes every two weeks and also leaves them all over the floor (I asked him why he bought so many and it was apparently because he scratches every time he skates, so he needs new ones constantly). He also amps up his computer speakers while watching his skater videos while my roommate and I study in the room (After a couple weeks of that I began study at the library because of this problem, but I have to study in my dorm room at night since the library closes at 10:30pm, and the study room in my dorm is always full by the time I get back) . He doesn't care to put on his headphones. In addition to all these problems, I recently found out that this kid had been taking my water bottles without my permission, and he leaves them half finished all over the floor. This quarter I am taking 8 AM classes Monday thru Friday (those were the only classes available for my major) and on top of that I have Physical Training at 6 AM on Tues, Thurs, and Fridays for Army ROTC. Being that I have been studying late into the night to maintain my 3.8 gpa and that I have to wake up at the crack of dawn almost everyday, I began to take naps during the afternoon, usually from about 1-4 pm. For the first 2 weeks, he was cool about it- when he came in the room from his classes, he would not turn on the lights. But now, he just comes in and automatically turns on the lights, and cares not to turn it off intentionally. When I take the initiative to get up at turn it off, he goes on to turn on MY study lamp. He used to have one, but for some lame reason, he took it back home. And then after he is finished using it, he adjusts the head of my lamp towards me and flashes it on and off multiple times by switching the on and off button to try to annoy me. Then he would leave and literally SLAM the door in an effort to wake me up (btw, I know all this b/c I pretended to sleep while he was in the room once). He did this a couple of times so far, and I know he will not stop. Also, before all this happened, in fall quarter, when he didn't have any problems with me, he would complain to me about my other roommate, mainly because of the fact that my other roommate would be studying until 2am and that his study lamp would cause him to wake up. Other times he would complain about him not taking the trash out, even though it was HIS trash bin to begin with. He would always constantly complain about this, and because of this, I know for a fact that he is probably complaining about me to his friends. So, because of this, what should I do? Should I try to talk to him directly, or should I talk to the RA about it? I was thinking about trying to set up him to get him kicked out, by placing my stuff (iPod, etc) in his drawers to make him look like he tried to steal my things (This is how bad it's getting, Im starting to think about revenge plots to get his a$$ kicked out). My other roommate and I both hate this roommate, since he lives like a pig and because he thinks he owns the room. We have been both passive about it, but for me I'm nearing the point, where I am about to beat the living sh!t out of this kid with his own skateboard. What should I do? One more detail about him: he now brings his dam girlfriend in to sleep with him. Additional Details So a couple of hours ago, I recorded my roommate doing the "flashing lights" crap with my study lamp and with HIS other lamp (he has one for his bed -_-) on my laptop. I also saw on the video that he was STOMPING ON MY BACKPACK. wtf. Additionally, i read the housing agreement, and it says it has a ZERO tolerance policy on harassment. In its official words, it says "Committing acts that annoy...in a manner likely to harass, intimidate, or alarm is prohibited." Will all of this be able to get him kicked out? more

When I play music through the headphones the background music sounds dull and the voices have sort of an echo sound? It sounds fine when I play it on speaker or on my iHome. Whenever I play a video (or do anything that has sound), my laptop speakers play the sound perfectly. However, when I put my Ipod headphones into the audio jack, I don't have any sound. A few weeks ago, I did not have this problem at all. I already know that the headphones work perfectly (since they play sound perfectly when I used them in my ipod). But why can't I use them with my laptop? Is it possible that the audio outlet is broken (my laptop is only a year old, so I'm not sure about this)? I also bought a TV to Mp3 AV A/V VIdeo Cable Cord to watch my movies on my tv. it works great, but the wire that i bought doesn't charge my ipod while i watch the movies. I can only watch movies as long as my batter life is. The cord I have plugs into the bottom of my ipod and then into my tv. So is there any way to charge my ipod? i.e a charger that charges through your headphone jack if thats possible or like a charger that still gives you that plug in the bottom of your ipod? So I have an Ipod video, I don't remember the generation but I know its not the newest one. Its a 30 GB. I've had about 5 different ipods of the same kind. Every time I get a new one its because the headphone jack stops working. It only works if I push it to a certain direction and hold it there. I have a 30GB video iPod I got in 2007. I use it a lot and I realize it's getting old for an iPod. Lately, the headphone jack in it has been acting weird. Whenever I listen to music, I can only hear it in my left ear, and there is no sound in the right. I'm pretty sure it's the jack and not the headphones because I've tried several different pairs of headphones and I have the same problem. If I pull on the the headphone cord really tight I can hear it in both ears, but otherwise it's only in the left headphone, which is really annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Voting Question: Why is my iPod doing this?

So this is about the new nano, the one with the video camera that also plays music when you take the headphones out with a little speaker on the back. It worked fine at first: when I unplugged the headphones, it would play just through the speaker on the the back, and I'd plug them back in and it'd only play through the headphones. But now, when I plug the headphones in, it plays through them and the speaker, which is incredibly annoying as everybody else can hear what I'm listening to. The only way to make it play just through the headphones is if you turn the volume all the way down to what would usually be off: then it just plays through the headphones but is too loud for my ears. I have reset all the settings and I don't know what to do! Ahhhhh D=also, i have tried other headphones, and it still does the same thing. more

So I some how banged up my iPod headphone jack so now it only plays out of the left ear (yes I have tried several new pairs of headphones) so since Christmas is just around the corner I am getting an iTouch. I had my iPod on manually sync so I got a bunch of the music and stuff from my friends. My iPod still works as in it can connect to my computer and I can use it just fine, except that it only plays out of the left earphone. i've had my eye on an new iPod for a while. I have the money and stuff, I just don't know which one to buy. I don't want a shuffle, because it won't have enough space for all my music (and if your headphones break, you're kinda screwed), the classic has a lot of bang for your buck, but a) it's a little too bulky for me, and b) i don't think I'll need 160GB and only use about 10. I like games, so I'm thinking about the iPod Touch on that note, but I'm afraid I won't have enough room for my photos, videos, music, apps, etc. and still have enough room for when I get more music. Resolved Question: What good quality gaming headphones can I buy for under £100?

Hello people. I have been looking around the internet for some shiny new headphones I can use to listen to music, watch films and play video games. I have looked at many different models but, since I have no experience with any of them, I would like to ask if anyone has any recommendations. I am looking for something that will work with ps3,360 and PC as well as connecting to to the iPod if possible. Resolved Question: 10 points for the person with best answer about a problem with my iPod touch.?

So I just bought an iPod touch this black Friday and it's been having some problems. Sometimes I will be listening to music and after I'm finished I will put it on pause press the home button and put the iPod in sleep mode. I put it on my desk and come back 2 hours later and it's playing music! I don't know why. Like today I was watching YouTube videos on my iPod, and then put it in sleep mode put it on my desk and left for a swim meet. I came back like 3 hours later to music blasting out of my headphones and a huge chunk of battery gone. Does anyone know why it does this? Is there some setting I can change or is this a factory problem? Also, sometimes when I'm watching videos on YouTube I will be waiting for the video to buffer so it doesn't pause during the video, and then randomly the video will just start playing when I never clicked play. It happens every time I war h a video. Does anyone know the reasons for these problems and solutions? Or are these factory problems? Thanks more

I texted a girl from youtube, after I broadcasted my phone number in a comment on a really popular video, and we exchanged pics, and she said I'm hot. She's 21, and in Texas, and I'm 16, and in Alaska. She said maybe I have girl problems because I'm a metal head and in school I walk around blasting Death Metal from my iPod headphones in my ears. And I told her that I've pretty much asked out every female I know, and got rejected by all of them, to which she said "aw," and "don't try so hard". I need to try hard, because I really need a girlfriend! The Crystal Ball Dance is coming up at my school and I have no one to take, so I don't even think I'm gonna go. I have a 4G iPod, and it plays out loud. {Just in case I'm mistaken, it's the one that's the same size as the first one, but with a longer screen, video recorder, and it's smoother and shinier.} I thought it was really cool and all, but it wouldn't stop when I plugged in my headphones and I got pissed . . . I mean, how can I listen to my music in private if my iPod is spewing out the music when I'm listening through my headphones, not knowing that others can hear my music? I have a 2nd generation iPod Touch so there are speakers. But for some reason that won't work anymore and when I play music or a video on it, the volume thing disappears when I don't have headphones or speakers attached to it and it won't play music without them.
