Resolved Question: Im New To THe Digital World, Which Camera Do I Buy?

my parents want a digital camera, they ask me which ones to buy but i tell them i dont know. i feel bad not knowing which brand or type of camera to get. all they want is a camera that doesn't blur, has the option to delete/erase pictures, and recorded unlimitedly, and has aLOT of memory. what do i need to know to buy a camera that has quality that meets my parents exspectations? this camera is not for me, i just want to make sure my parents gets the best and be satisfied and not getting ripped off. is there a camera thing that tells you how many pictures/videos it can hold? like for example an ipod. a 30gb can hold 7,500 songs max. is there a camera "GB" i should know about? and whats the most "camera GB" there is? thanks. i know its a bit confusing. also, when you answer, i'd like to make a little request to put your answer in a way a 12 year old kid would understand. im a 16 year old tenth grader, and im kind of slow. its kind of sad i know. thanks for reading.also, ive noticed in most digital cameras, you have to hold the button down and wait like 2 seconds before the camera takes its shot. is there such camera that takes pictures like disposalble cameras right when you press the button, but still have the option to delete the pictrures if you dont like it? thanks more

I have the 30GB iPod Video right now. I am interested in buying an iPod Touch, but do you think it is worth the money? It has less GBs than my Video and is more expensive. My friend got one for Christmas and it is great. I have about 500 songs and videos combined right now on my iPod Video. How many more songs and videos would I be able to put in my iPod Video. I probably have about 6 or 7 hours of video (16 music videos and 7 TV Shows) and I have about 475 songs. Also, can you trade in iPods to the apple store and get credit for a new iPod? more

My iPod (30gb 5g video) has had problems with earphones for a while. It only plays out of one ear. I have looked at many videos on how to fix it, but I just can't. I would like to buy another one, but my current iPod was given to me by my grandma as a birthday present, and I would hate to waste that money, especially since my iPod can hold 7,500 songs, but it currently only has 377. So what should I do?It's not a problem having to do with the earphones, because I've tried multiple pairs and have discovered it's an internal problem. Also, I do not have a warranty for my iPod, and I don't have an Apple Store anywhere near where I live because I live in an extrememly small town in Eastern Kentucky. more

i mostly want it for videos and music. there both 30gb hard drive but ipod video says it holds 7,500 songs or 25,000 photos(which i really don't care about)or 40 hours of video but zune says it holds 7,500 songs(same)or 25,000 photos(same) or 100 hours of videos(huge differences). i kinda want the zune more cause holds more videos.and does anyone know what program you use to put music on your zune? thanks for the help people. more

i think that 7,500 songs is enough but i dont think that 40 hours of video will be enough...plus there is the longer battery life for the 80GB....do you think its worth the extra 100 dollars more

so...the ipod nano is only 8GB and can only hold 2,000 songs. and then the 30GB ipod video has 22 more GB and u can watch videos and things on them and they can hold 7,500 songs...but y r they the same price? that seems so weird to me...someone explain. thanks more

I was never interested in iPods or any other MP3 player for that matter, but my sister recently told me she wants one and I want to get her one for Christmas. I'll list my questions. 1) Would she be able to download a song off of myspace for example, and be able to download it to an iPod? Or do you specifically have to use an iTunes card to download music? 2) How do you get the song to the iPod...is it like downloading a ring for a cell phone or are wires involved? 3) I'm confused by the different types of iPods out there for sale. In the advertisements this week I see two different types that i can not decide between: a) 30GB iPod Video: holds up to 7,500 songs and 25,000 photos, holds up to 75 hours of video. $249.99 b) 80 GB iPod: holds up to 20,000 songs and 6.5 hours of video playback. $346 My question is: does saying iPod video make it different than just an iPod...because 80GB is a lot more memory than 30GB, yet it seems that it holds a lot less media?Will music have saved from myspace be transferrable? What kind of program in addition to connecting it to the USB would be needed? Roughly how much do songs cost using iTunes?Also, when it says 80GB and 80GB Video, is there a difference? Because those take up more space. I don't want to have 5,000 songs and then it say I can only have 4 videos. =/ Will it be able to fit a decent amount of videos (around 20)- it is 100 dollars cheaper than the 80gb... i wish the 60gb was still around.......Is it less compatible when holding several videos? (I've never owned one) more
