I've installed & un installed the coupon printer MANY times, my printer is on and ready, ink levels are brand-new, pop-up blocker is turned off, smartscreen filter is off and still CAN"T print the coupons. Every timee I go to their site it tells me I have to install the software yet it's already on my laptop. I use windows XP and have an HP officeject 6500 wireless printer - but it's defaulted to the usb port not the wireless driver. I bought one $1000 laptop at eBay with a 10% coupon and 8% Bing CashBack last month. Unfortunately, I found there are some defects in this laptop which seller did not mention it on description. The seller agreed to offer me $100.00 as a compensation after we negotiated, and I accepted it too. I got the partial refund from the seller last Tuesday. I myself have never owned a laptop before as I have always used the 2 desktops at home. Now, I'm starting to worry a little about getting the right laptop for me. So, I'm looking for laptops that fit my requirements (specified below). Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also, if you don't mind, post the websites that you get your laptop information from. Thanks! Personal Requirements: -Budget is about $1000-$1100 -Battery life is semi-important, about 4 hours (avoid netbooks/minis) -Memory is important, about 3-4 GB will do -Style/look is important, especially the sleek and glossy design -OS is important, preferably windows 7 (will not use vista) -Graphics card/dedicated memory is semi-important, casual gaming such as sims 3 Those are the main requirements I'm looking for in a laptop. So in summary, I'm looking for a high performance laptop that will allow me to do all the word processing I need to do in college, play movies, listen to music, browse the web, and play games that would satisfy the moderate gamer. I'm looking to buy a laptop. I'm a university student, so something that is not heavy, a screen between 12 - 14 inches, and i have a budget of up to $900. Right now, i'm looking to buy the Asus K40 (the other Asus models are either too costly or their webcams are only 0.3 MP), the Dell Inspiron 14 or 14z. Resolved Question: Does Windows 7 require a full Vista (or XP) Install, or just insert CD?

I have Vista Ultimate 64-bit running on my laptop and received a coupon for Windows 7. Once I receive Windows 7, will it require and look for a full existing installed copy of my Vista Ultimate or XP, or just ask me to insert any Vista or XP CD, then remove that and continue with the Windows 7 install? Similar to the Win98 to XP installs. I'm just curious as I actually like my Vista Ultimate and I thought to maybe use my Windows 7 CD onto another computer. Especially if all I need to do is show/insert any existing XP CD then remove that and continue with the Windows 7 install. Comments, suggestions? Thanks. more

Hi everyone, My name is Ming and I'm pretty much stuck in a Dilemma, Recently I purchased an Toshiba Satellite A350D-20K. Terrific laptop I must say. Anyways, when I purchased the laptop it came with a coupon for Windows 7 for 29,95 euros. I happen to be one of the lucky ones who could choose if they wanted x32 or x64 Windows 7. My main problem right now is my laptop has 4GB ram. If I happen to choose x32. I can only use up to 3GB so I'd be wasting 1 GB, If I choose x64. I'll probably be lacking drivers. And yes ofcourse my processor is capable of x64. So which would be better? Lacking in drivers or throwing away 1GB. And please everyone who replies. Don't give me an technical response. Resolved Question: Should I buy this laptop now or wait?

The laptop I have right now doesn't really work for me. It's a 17 inch HP with 1 gig that BARELY runs Vista, it has a 1.6 GHz processor, integrated graphics, a 2 cell battery and a 160gig hard drive. I use my computer mainly for school, and if i use a flash drive to boost system memory it does the job fine. I mainly use my laptop because while i do have a desktop, it's 6 years old. I was looking into getting a netbook, which after seeing how little they can do i decided to buy a new laptop. The ones in my price range (about $500) didn't really impress me. However, after earning $500 in rebates and coupons, I can get a 16 inch laptop with a 2.2 GHz processor, 4 gigs of ram, a 320 gig harddrive, blu-ray player, thumbprint reader, 12 cell battery, an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT graphics card with 512k memory, and an HD screen all for about $830. I don't need all that because it's stuff I don't use, but I'd definitely start using it if I had all that. Especially because my current battery lasts only 30 minutes before dying. I know that's cheap for what it is, and it would be nice because this would blow my desktop so out of the water that I could just get rid of it and free up space. I'm debating whether or not I get this. My parents gave me $300 to save for a PC, and my friend is willing to give me $250 for this. That leaves me to scrounge up about $300 myself, and while I can get the money, I'd empty my savings account, and my job is only giving me 5 hours a week. If I wait till, say christmas, I could save up some money and not be flat broke by the end of the deal and stressing because I can't even afford a comic book, and maybe even spend just as much and get a better machine, or get a similar machine for less. However, around that time I might not be able to get such a good deal, as the blu-ray player, thumbprint reader, hard drive, 4 gig memory, and HD screen were all free because of an HP clearance sale. If I do wait I can earn more money, but my friend won't be interested in buying my laptop for $250, and while the price may go down, with all the extra bells and whistles that make me like it in the first place, I really doubt it. So, what should I do? My coupon expires tomorrow. Do I jump on the bandwagon and buy what will end up being abuot a $2500 computer for $800 that I do have but REALLY shouldn't spend, or wait till i have money and hope a better deal comes up?I was looking to buy a new LAPTOP. not a netbook. more
