Resolved Question: how on earth can hand cream residue stay in a cotton long sleeved shirt?

currently I hand washed one and when I was squeezing it to dry it faster, I noticed something white coming out of it. I couldn't comprehend what this could be. I thought it's a deodorant residue but it was too white and oily just like the hand cream I use. wherever I squeezed and twisted it, this cream came out. I only use hand cream for hands, forearms and elbows and I don't overuse it but I often wear these two long sleeved shirts when I'm using my laptop. how on earth could a cream stay inside a cotton shirt? I thought washing with laundry detergents will remove everything. what on earth happened? now I'll have to find something else for hands. more

Resolved Question: Cheat on college exams 100% fool-proof?

Today, I just thought of an awesome way to cheat on college exams. Here is what you do. 1. Buy a notebook, a backpack, a wireless mouse, and some pencils. A jacket helps too. 2. Store your notes on the notebook and turn ClickLock ON. This will enable you to use the middle mouse button for scrolling without any noisy clicking during the exam. DO NOT forget to mute any noise coming from the notebook. 3. Go in early to class before the exam and put your notebook inside the backpack along with the pencils. 4. Open the backpack to the point to where you can see the laptop through the crack. 5. Put your jacket next to the backpack with the sleeve over the crack. This is so the prof doesn't walk by and see the crack while passing out exams. If for some reason the teacher asks you to move your stuff (and most likely wont,) just simply reach in your backpack and close the notebook. You can always re-open it later. If your prof sees the laptop turned on, just say you forgot to turn it off. Your prof cant accuse you of cheating because students tend to look over notes before the exam, and leave their notebooks on. 6. Put your wireless mouse in your pocket. (You can still use it.) 7. During the exam, slowly move your jacket's sleeve off the backpack's hole. This prevents the backpack making a noisy zipping noise, or fumbling with the opening. - When looking at the screen, do not shift your eyes to your left/right unless your hand is pressed against your forehead (as in a thinking pose.) If you shift your eyes too much, it will be obvious. - Use your left hand to navigate using the wireless mouse in your pocket. DO NOT make consecutive loud clicking noises. Have the middle mouse button lock itself so you can scroll up and down the notes. If you need to click, do it in moderation. - Make sure you are sitting in the farthest row in class. Obstacles likes poles and classmates help to block the prof from watching you. - If your prof gets suspicious, reach in your backpack to close the notebook and grab a pencil. The prof. cannot accuse you of cheating and report you to the school staff because your prof will have a hard time trying to prove it since students put their notebooks in backpacks. - Do not tell anyone in your class about this trick because they can snitch on you. No really, it's like stealing from a store and showing the cop what you stole. - Cheating in college is not illegal in the U.S. However, if you are caught, you can get an F on the test or even get expelled from the class completely. Anyone think this trick would work?Leda: Because some exams are hard as hell, even if you study for one.Belie: The backpack is supposed to be on the side of you leaning against the table leg. more

Resolved Question: Easycap 2.0 vista drivers and xp?

I have too computers one has xp and one vista, not my laptop dvd-rom is out of order and there are surely more than 1000 sites about this stupid product i dumbfoundly bough but it from ebay because for some reason i want to record programs, SO apparently it says 'vista', well as you know how to instal anything new you do not connect it and let the driver install first, well that wasn't the case, it made the noise like its installing a driver then disconnects, I read about, aparently the ulead program helps but they give you ulead and i misplaced this stupid sleeve and so theres no serial so i download, Can't find a functioning one OMG trouble. SO im looking online for XP and still seriously is there any thing that can give me a stupid xp driver, im not that mad just COME ON what stupid people we are thinking we are getting a deal when we bought a dud, and same thing with pcmcia which one works! Resolved Question: How come my school administrators and officials are thinking that these types of pictures are inappropriate ?

I'm an 17 year old Asian American teenage boy who currently goes to high school and I've been criticized by my school administrators and the school psychologist when they said the pictures i looked at are inappropriate. I often have a photo of Chinese or Vietnamese Girls in Traditional Long Dresses on my binder of my notebook, I also have a photo of a Vietnamese girl in those traditional long Chinese dresses on my laptop's desktop as all wallpaper and the school psychologist always accuse me of being a pervert. He says he knows what I do at home when he really doesn't, he accuses me of watching porn at home when i really don't I don't watch porn because one it is nasty and corrupts your mind and 2 it crashes your computer. There are 2 types of dresses that most people think are the same because they look alike, One the Chinese Dress is the dress usually with short sleeves and long side slits on each side of the dress's skirt for easy movement of the wearer's legs. Two, the Traditional Vietnamese dress looks the same like the Chinese Version but it usually with long sleeves and girls wear the dress with pants because the Slits are Higher. I love seeing Vietnamese or Chinese girls in these dresses because it makes girls look Beautiful and Sexy. My Mother also thinks it's unhealthy while my father thinks it's completely normal for a boy at my age to like looking at pictures of girls in traditional clothing. Resolved Question: Should I buy a laptop backpack for my mac book pro or just a carrying case to put the laptop in?

I take the mac book pro to school essentially to record lectures and take notes. I want to buy a digital recorder in the near future to eliminate the need to record lectures on the laptop. And I think I can just rent laptops out from the library to take notes on, although they don't have a recording feature. So given everything I just said I don't know if a laptop backpack would be the right choice for me b/c I don't know for how long I will be taking the laptop to school. Maybe I should just buy a laptop sleeve or something to put it in and put that into my regular backpack. I don't really want to buy a briefcase type thing b/c I would probably be more likely to leave it somewhere. I'd like to keep as much stuff in one thing as possible to eliminate the risk of losing things (i.e., a backpack). I think the problem with laptop backpacks is that they put the laptop compartment in the very back of the laptop where books could press up against it. That's not good! And they are probably kinda pricy. So what do y'all think? more

Resolved Question: Bent lid on new Macbook Pro - covered by Applecare Protection Plan?

I've had one of the new Macbook Pro 15" for several months now and have looked after it very well - keeping safe it in a neoprene sleeve - it's immaculate. However, this evening when i opened the lid it made a horrible scratching/grinding noise. After closer inspection it appears, somewhere, somehow the bottom right hand corner of the lid has bent slightly further down, causing it to rub on the main body. I don't quite know how this has happened as i've not dropped/banged the laptop at all. I can only put it down to being pressed on whilst at the top of my bag, whilst in a luggage storage place at a London station today. I suppose this is classed as accidental damage, which means it won't be protected by the Applecare Protection Plan i bought with the laptop, right? How much is this likely to cost to get fixed in a Apple store and how long will is take? I can't really do without my laptop but as opening and closing the screen scratches the body it must be fixed. more

Resolved Question: Should I get the new unibody white macbook?

I have been a windows user my entire life. There were frustrations at times, but the recent windows 7 upgrade has been complain-free for me. However, seeing everybody using macs around me does get me interested in those sleek machines, and I heard the system is a lot better and easier to use than windows. I don't mean to convert to a mac user, but I just want to have a mac under my sleeve. My huge debate right now is this. The new unibody polycarbonate white macbook is selling for $850 right now, and the deal ends today. But I already have two laptops (PC) by my side right now, so there certainly isn't any need for a third one. However, consider I will get a mac eventually and this gorgeous model is on sale, I might as well buy it now. So should I buy or not? more

Will the Dell Inspiron 15 fit in a BUILTny 14-15 inch laptop sleeve? Best Buy says the laptop is 14.7 inches long, and BUILT says that the sleeve stretches. It's made out of that wet suit material..... I have a TSA approved carry on size suitcase, plus my laptop in a lay flat sleeve, and a large (16 inches long, 15 inches high, and 6 inches across) size soft handbag (Which the laptop & sleeve fit in). Will they count it as a carry on because of it's size? (It will fit under the seat) Thanks! more
