But what channel does ROH come on? Not number,the actual channel,like RAW comes on USA,that sort of thing is what I'm talking about. So many people have said that ROH is good,so I wanna see it. My main promotion is WWE,but I wanna see what ROH is like. Also,what time does it come on,and what days does it come on? I've never really had the opportunity to see other promotions because I have no idea what channels they come on,and when they come on. I have had comcast internet for about a year when I signed up. The promotion was for a cheap 3 month introductory rate and then a regular rate. I have Dish Network satellite service so I do not need cable service. So Comcast called me up today and said they were charging me a bundled rate and tried to get me to go for another offer of free year of basic cable so I guess they could get me out of what I'm paying now and into a package. I told them that I would think about it and did not agree to anything. I recently (two months ago) signed up for service with Dish network. It started when I received a call from a sales representative from Dish Network offering a promotion. The promotion was if I signed a contract now with Dish Net work, I would get one month of free service. By the end of the month I was supposed to get free service for, I was billed regular price for the service. So I called the management and, they told me there was no record of me being scheduled for free service. Like an idiot; after I signed up for the service, got my dish installed and, paid for the initial installment fee I threw out the name and, I.D. number to the representative who sold me the service. Well now that I experienced this, I decided I will go back to the cable company I used before getting Dish network when I move into my new house. Hey everyone. I've always signed up with Time Warner cable, and I hate it but I never really knew the alternatives. I currently live in West Los Angeles, and I'm coming to the end of the three month promotion period for my cable TV and I still have three months left on the cable. I'm pretty satisfied with the internet connection, but I really don't like the TV service. Time Warner just seems very expensive for what they offer. I don't have any premium channels and I just subscribe to the basic internet and pretty soon I'll be paying $100/month. Can any of you tech heads offer advice on what I should do? I just need basic cable-esque channels (like food network, bravo, etc) and the big HD channels (FOX, ABC, etc) along with high speed internet service. I would be willing to sign up for a local phone line (currently I have no home phone, only cell) and DSL if I felt that the TV service merited it. Looking to balance low cost with reliable service and avoid the wretched customer service at Time Warner. A company called Satellite Promotions keeps calling my office, offering satellite TV. Apparently they work for Dish network, and when you ask to be taken off of their call list, they hang up in your face. I read on the internet that the company is well known for doing this. I currently have a bundled service with Charter Communication, but my promotion is going to end on June 1st and I am requesting for a deal but they won't budge. I currently pay $62 before tax for Expanded Basic Cable, 5 Mbps Internet, and domestic long distance phone, which i think is a great deal and am willing to stay with them and I am even willing to pay a little more, but when I called back and asked they wanted $58 just for cable tv service alone and I was like F**K YOU. Shouldn't they try to keep customers and make some money instead of having the person take their business to the competition. I can get Dish Network HDTV for $29.99 with a 24 month contract but I would rather stay and get digital for $29.99 because I am a loyal customer but I guess my business means nothing to them. AFTER THEY HOOKED ME, TURNS OUT LOCAL CHANNELS AREN'T AVAILABLE IN MY AREA. I COULD HAVE GOTTEN PAST THAT, BUT WHEN MY BILL SHOWED UP FOR $90.00 I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. THEY CLAIM BECAUSE LOCAL CHANNELS ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN MY AREA NEITHER IS THE PROMOTION. THIS IS SO CROOKED I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S LEGAL. I TOLD THEM TO TAKE OFF THE HD PROGRAMMING BECAUSE THEY ARE CHARGING 20/MONTH FOR IT. SO THEY ARE CHARGING ME $6/MTH TO DISABLE IT. THAT IS CRAZY. ALSO I'M BEING CHARGED $5/MTH FOR NO PHONE LINE, WHICH I KNEW ABOUT THIS CHARGE, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE IT FOR TWO ROOMS. THERE IS ALOT THEY DON'T TELL YOU UPFRONT. Hello all. Here's the deal: I live in a very rural area. DSL and Cable services are not available here -- trust me, I've looked everywhere, and I'm sure most of you understand my problem. Anyway, me and my family decided to go with Dish Network's Satellite Internet service because DSL, of course, wasn't available, and HughesNet is way too much. If it wasn't too much trouble, could you tell me how Dish Network's plan works exactly as to not possibly be deceived by the personnel? How much can you download/upload a month, and does upload include things such as... watching streaming videos on another site? And can you sign in with it on another ISP, such as America Online or Earthlink? I saw this advertisement on tv telling people about getting this kit (for free) containing coupons for free Dish Network satellite installation. For every person that signs up and has a Dish Network satellite system installed, you will receive $75. The kit contains something like 1000 coupons. No limit to how many coupons you can hand out. You will receive more coupons as you run out. The person that takes a coupon calls the number and has the satellite system set up. When the satellite system is set up, you receive $75! You can use the display stands the kit comes with to display the coupons for people to take in stores, etc. or even give out the coupons on e-bay/the internet. Too good to be true?
