Resolved Question: Movie Help???????????????????????

ok I need help remembering the title of a movie, I don't remember much but here is the details that I do remember... It never went to theaters, it was one of the made for tv movies, a movie that was televised on like Lifetime network...It was about a possessive boyfriend, who wanted to control his teen girlfriend. I forgot a lot of the movie but i'll skip towards the middle...He took his girlfriend to stay at his cabin on a lake with him and they ended up arguing so he tied her up in these chains on to like the furnace or something so she couldn't leave, the chains was long enough that she could go on to the porch...The only way you could leave the cabin was by a little small boat, the lake was also swimming distance from where the boyfriends truck was that was sitting on the other side of the lake from the cabin on the side of a road...I do remember towards the end he had to go in to town so he took the truck and left, while he was gone the girlfriend broke free and tried to swim to the other side but he ended up coming back before she made it...For some reason I keep picturing Tara Reid playing the girlfriend...It's not a recent movie, maybe between 1998-2003 more

Resolved Question: TV show question..What was the name?

i'm looking for a tv show that was shown about a year ago for a few episodes. I started watching and fell in love with it and now I can't remember the name. I remember it started about the same time as being erica on soap network, but I'm thinking that it was shown on oxygen, or We tv, or lifetime...those "women channels"...lol. I don't remember much except that the main character was pregnant and her boyfriend decided to break up with her after she had a black baby (she was white). They had a talent agency and he was dating an actress that they were representing. I don't remember much more than that...if anyone can give me any clues that would be great!. more

Voting Question: What do you think about Keven Trudeau's new venture?

If you are lucky, maybe once in your lifetime a day will come where you will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a money making opportunity that can almost GUARANTEE your success! Today is that day! In 1996 a very successful wealthy friend of mine launched a multi-level marketing program. This man is a TV celebrity, and a number 1 New York Times bestselling author. His books have sold an estimated 50 million copies. When he launched this new MLM program in 1996, the company was publically traded on NASDAQ with a stock price of just .50 cents. In less than 18 months over 200,000 joined this company. Sales exceeded $250,000,000! And the stock went to $35!!! Many people that got in at the beginning made millions. Don’t you wish YOU had gotten in back then at the very beginning? Well my friend sold his equity in 1999 and made yet another fortune. Now, my friend is doing it AGAIN! Resolved Question: Why is the TV Guide listing for LMN network never correct?

TV Guide said there will be a certain movie on at a certain time on LMN (lifetime movie network) but instead another movie shows up when I turn on the LMN channel. And I wish I was wrong for just one time, but it happens EVERY time, for example TV Guide says lifetime will show the movie "Stranger with my Face" right now on LMN, instead when I turn on LMN, they are in the middle of showing some movie called "The Perfect Daughter" Why is that? more

Resolved Question: What tv shows or movies are these?

okaay for the first question I want to know what movie or tv show this is: like eight years ago i was up late watching tv and some movie or show came on with like a group of either teenagers or adults in their 20s or 30s that had their truck break down or something and then one of the girls in the group had like a twin or clone or something that was bad and her and the clone were trying to get back to the group before the other or something and they were both in like go go boots (White), had blonde hair, and where wearing these like go go girls outfits. im just curious if anyone knows what movie or show this might be....keep in mind this was like eight years ago. okay second question: I'm preety sure this is a movie... it was like where a girl has like a friend thats a boy who i think she grows to like and he likes her but he hangs out with cool kids and he betrays her or something and she goes to a party where all his friends are and its like a pool party and they have an argument while hes in the jacuzzi with this popular snotty girl that likes him and all these people are around them and then some guy picks the girl(the main girl, not the snotty girl) up and is going to throw her into the pool but puts her down because she was freaking out or whatever and she like leaves the party in a rush crying. I have this wierd feeling its from the movie "Raise Your Voice" with Hilary Duff, but cant seem to remember if that movie had a scene like this since its been a long time since i last saw it. My last question is about this movie i saw on the Lifetime network: I'm not sure if it was a Lifetime feature or a movie they were playing on Lifetime, but it was where there was a boy whos parents died when he was little from a storm or a car crash or something and a police officer finds him. Later in the movie the boy is all grown up and then theres this girl who is a friend of the police officer that found the boy or is related to the police officer someway. The girl starts to go out with the boy (I think the police officer didn't like her going out with him...hes on her side, not the boy's). Also I think throughout the movie theres all these problems with bad storms and the girl's mother is on a weather team trying to locate where they'll strike or something. Then one day when theres all these bad storms or tornadoes, I think, she goes to the boy's house and when she eventually wants to leave he won't let her, and has all these locks and stuff in his fancy rich house, and then theres like a storm and hes like missing or something by the end of the movie, but the police officer finds the girl. PLEASE, ANY SUGGESTIONS TO WHAT THESE TV SHOWS OR MOVIES MIGHT BE WILL BE GREAT AND SUPER HELPFUL......THANK YOU!!!!!!!!**********OKAY SORRY GUYS I FIGURED OUT THE SECOND AND THRID ANSWERS BUT I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT THE FIRST IS!!!!!******** more

Voting Question: Need inspirational movie suggestions!!!?

Okay, I'm a screenwriter and am currently on the second draft of my drama screenplay. It is a mix of melodrama and neo-noir, but it is also a love story. I am NOT looking for the made-for-TV kind of films (something you would see on LMN, Hallmark, or Lifetime). I want movies that have done very well at the box office or made a long-lasting impact on audiences. To give you a general idea of what kind of themes I want, here's some brief details about my script: 1) It is a love story...amateur and professional readers alike have said it's beautiful 2) It involves suicide, depression, self-scarification, and light drug use 3) It is inspired by several actual events 4) It takes place in Texas, but not in a "small country town" necessarily 5) It is violent at times but very heart-warming overall I am trying to watch as many movies in the drama genre and read as many scripts as I can, but I just need some great inspirational movie suggestions that might help me figure out mine. I am looking forward to finishing my script very soon. Thanks! P.S. If anybody knows any agents or managers interested in such a script, please say so. I already have several contacts, but I love to network! more

Resolved Question: What's wrong with me? Is this truly abnormal? A hatred for women?

I have, from a very young age, seen women as extreme inferiors. Before you start calling me a troll, I'll say that I am a girl (16) and I'm being completely honest here. I am always truly shocked when I see a man show true affection towards a woman because I can't imagine a man thinking that a woman deserves such things. I also do not see how they can be sexually attracted to them, they are smaller, weaker and generally do not have as beautiful bodies. Since I was a young child, I've also been surprised at fathers showing that they cared for their daughters. Especially rappers or public figures with "tough" images such as Biggie and Eminem. I've watched a lot of movies and it seems that from every single movie since I can remember, the man only wants sex. They cheat on women. I watched Lifetime a lot from ages 7-11 and I remember at 7 or 8 watching a movie about two men who murdered a woman in the woods and were both naked washing the bloody bat in this locker room. This disturbed me greatly. All those rapes on TV did as well, women being raped every day on that network. I know my thinking is wrong and I'd like to correct it, I don't know if television influenced these thoughts. I've been to a lot of counselors at schools (I've never shared this with anyone) and they were all women and they just all make me extremely uncomfortable. I got into a lot of trouble and I had problems with my mother (nothing extreme enough to enforce my beliefs though but occasional violent fits) so that motherly figure just disturbed me. My mother also calls me a tr*mp, c*nt, wh*re, worhtless, stupid, an idiot, disgusting, etc. so I have low self-esteem and I see myself as an inferior as well. What can I do to fix this? Also know that I will never see a professional.just like to add that i think rape, abuse and murder of women is obviously DISGUSTING and wrong and i do not believe that is right in ANY WAY i was just saying that id watched a lot of movies about it from a young age and that it disturbed me. i still believe no one deserves to go through that and that the men who do those thigns are disugsting more

Voting Question: Is it just me or does it seem like TNA is being streamed on TV(quality)?

Yes i have direct tv too. I think its something to do with Spike tv channel. other channels(g4tv, lifetime, cartoon network) shows good.lIt may just be my TV. But i dunno it seems like a small lag and the visuals are not so great. however it may just be the SpikeTV channel because I still see the difference when I watch commericials too. note: the colors not that bright, dark feeling, it has that "streaming on your computer" feeling. more

Resolved Question: Why would a tv network for women be about....?

Why would the lifetime network(aimed for women produce a lot of their movies about adultery, betrayal, murder and spousal abuse? I'm a woman and I don't enjoy these types of movies! Spike has better movies than lifetime and it's aimed at men! Guess I'm the type that like guy flicks or action movies even though I'm a woman. more

Resolved Question: What is your husbands guilty pleasure TV show?

My boyfriend is a total dude! He loves Entourage, all the News Channels like CNN or whatever, and no matter which TV I turn on at his house it's always on either ESPN or The NFL Network. Today when I was done taking a shower at his house I walked in on my watching Desperate Housewives on Lifetime! It cracked me up just because it's so out of his character. I made him admit to me what other shows he watches secretly and he said he loves Wife-Swap, Big Love, and all The Real Housewives series (on Bravo) and began telling me what wives he can't stand and why! I've never laughed harder in my life. He even admitted to ordering things on QVC and HSN...oh my. Anyway what are some TV shows that your hubby would be embarrassed about if you ever told his friends? more

That is enough some might think however I do not wish to spend more than £865 on Computer because I still need to buy the Logitech G11 Keyboard, a decent Laser mouse, a Creative Fatal1ty headset, an that adds up about £85. Leaving me with a small amount to pre-order Modern Warfare and I want to get World of Warcraft as well as Subcribe for 6 months. I'll have enough to buy some games. Subscribe to Warcraft and pre-order Modern Warfare 2. Now the thing that worries me is that it isn't Quad, and that Tri-Cores never really lifted off the ground. 2nd of all, the price elevates to £913. That's without the awesome keyboard I want. Then when I do buy the Awesoem keyboard, mouse, and headset then I'm left with about 20p to buy a game. (Won't happen) I don't want to make the wrong choice. People say don't compromise on processors and I don't want to drop price on the case and choose a smaller one with less intake/exhaust fans because my room is very hot alot of the time even with the windows open, and I also like the dust covers. I won't use newegg or anything else because I'm not building it myself. I'm using www.pcspecialist.co.uk I already have a 20" Samsung Syncmaster 2032MW 1680x1050 - 5ms HDTV Monitor/TV, Logitech X-230 2.1 Stereo Speakers, and a Logitech Quickcam 10 - 1.3MP Camera. I need this system to run for a long time. And I don't want to upgrade it for as long as possible either but I picked the mobo and case for just that reason - ability to upgrade if need be. Also regardless of whatever CPU I choose is that CPU cooler going to keep my processor cool in a antec 1200 case in a warm room, an maybe during overclocking? (maybe overclock 400mhz-600mhz MAX) Please help. If you have to use www.PCspecialist.co.uk yourself to mess about with available build options to cut cost, first click build my own > AMD > Crossfire System. I don't want dual-core. Please give me as much info as possible and some recommendations. Please answer as many questions as possible shown in this question. The main thing is the choice between Triple-Core and Quad. Although I need to save money to buy games. :( Confused :( ThanksSo X3 it is? It'd save me a good £60-70. Which allows for some gamage! :) I agree. I've read in a lot of forums its GPU slavery that does the leg-work mostly. I just hope my X3 won't die off in 2 years. I'll keep the Antec 1200, again coz of my hot room, an I think I'll go with the X3 720 Black Edition 2.8Ghz. Are you sure this will suffice for Crysis and Modern Warfare 2 on MAX? Is the CPU cooler enough for my CPU. I do intend on Overclocking the X3 720 to 3.2GHz. Thanks so far everyone, Lord I sense you are being honest, so I'm grateful.I'd probably stick with a X3 720 til the last second. Unless I had to critially update due to every game needing quads. more

Resolved Question: "1 in 5 adult Americans think the sun revolves around the earth" ..how is that possible?

seventeen percent believe the earth revolves around the sun ONCE A DAY 64 per cent of people questioned for a recent poll said they were open to the idea of teaching creationism in addition to evolution in schools 38 per cent favored replacing evolution with creationism. 80 per cent of Americans surveyed by the CNN TV news network believe that their government is hiding evidence of the existence of space aliens. 70 per cent believe it likely that Saddam Hussein was involved personally in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. 40 per cent of Americans believe in the "endtimes", according to a survey carried out in 2002. Of those believers, almost half thought this would occur in their lifetime with a return of Jesus from heaven. The United States is 49th in the world in literacy (the New York Times, Dec. 12, 2004). Resolved Question: Looking for a place to watch Twice in a Lifetime.?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twice_in_a_Lifetime_(TV_series) I am looking for a place to watch episodes of this show called Twice in a Lifetime. It aired in 1999 on the network PAX in the USA and on CTV in Canada. I would rather watch it video streaming or direct download as I can't use torrents on this computer for certain reasons. Specifically, I'd like to start on the second season with episode one, "Fallen Angel." more

Resolved Question: Free Internet TV? American Channels (Pacific)?

I really don't care how many applications or online sites I have to use as long as its LIVE TV. I don't want STC, SideReel, etc... And don't suggest Miro. Anyway, it should support these channels and they should all be Pacific (if possible): Fox TBS USA Spike ABC Family Comedy Central A&E Network Lifetime TNT AXN HBO AMC MGM PIX WB ESPN Nickelodian Cartoon Network Disney Channel Toon Disney Jetix Animax Pogo Boomerang MTV VH1 CNN HLN CNBC Fox News MSNBC The Weather Channel Animal Planet Discovery Channel History Channel National Geographic The Learning Channel And any other Entertainment, Movie, Kids, Learning, Sports and News Channels along the lines of these channels. I would like there to be one application that has all these channels and FREE, but I wouldn't mind using several applications/online sites. So if you know of something that supports some of these, than that's OK, tell me bout it.The reasons there are spaces is because their all different categories. In this order: General Entertainment Movies Sports Kids Music News InfotainmentI'd also like to the Discovery Travel and Living and V ChannelI also forgot to mention Star Movies, Star Entertainment and Zee CafeCan't really ask for a question and not try to figure out the answer myself. I suppose free would be hard, so I'm also willing to accept lifetime subscriptions. With that said I have found Satellite TV Master, iSoftware TV, Satellite TV on PC, TVonPC Elite, DishTV for PC and PC Satellite TV Titanium. I'm researching them and asking questions from the support staff. My question now is any other suggestions for some Internet Satellite TV Providers with LifeTime Subscriptions or is "free" still a possibility. more

Resolved Question: Recommendations for a Gaming Laptop?

I'm trying to get other people's ideas on what laptop I should get. I'm starting out in college and I'm going to get a laptop as a high school graduation present. Resolved Question: Will this system overheat during many hours of gaming or when overclocked? Is it worth £939?

Resolved Question: Drop Dead Diva- Lifetime Movie Network Movie/TV show?

I was watching LMN the other day and I saw a preview for this movie called Drop Dead Diva that is suppose to premier July 12th at 9:00pm. Resolved Question: Are there any current TV programs, on neutral networks only, aimed primarily at female viewership?

"neutral networks" means not Lifetime or Oxygen or We, etc.--not those networks that only women would watch, and therefore having nothing but women programming. I think this answers my question negatively; otherwise, why would such networks exist. I also don't think such programs exist b/c a woman is more likely to sit passively and watch a man's program with her man than a man is to sit and watch a woman's program with his woman, unless it's conditioned on sexplay later...or during. For men, I think "Top Gear" captures the male viewership essence--99.9% of men would love it, and only 0.1% probably of females would love it, and it's on a neutral network, BBC America. So I'm talking about similar programs, that nearly all women would LOVE, and almost no men would, on a network where a man might actually pause in channel-flipping.Michelle J: Yes, but how were you first introduced to it? I'm sure it was a guy who turned you onto it--didn't find it yourself.j/d: Are you tryin' to make me look stupid in front of the nation? You're lucky I don't flag ya. ;) more
