Resolved Question: Are there any sports bars, etc, in Tucson, AZ that regularly show the Big Ten Network?
I'm not looking for cable/satellite providers that offer the channel, because I don't have the money to shell out for it. I'm looking for someplace I can go to watch Wisconsin Badgers football games when they aren't on ESPN or other basic channels. On Wisconsin! :) moreResolved Question: Why should you apply to Big Ten schools?

There's always something to do on a Big Ten school's campus whether its cheering on your favorite sports team, playing games at the rec, making new friends at your dorm, or joining a fraternity of sorority. There's always something to do for students who decide to join the Big Ten. You will be getting some of the best education in the world if you attend a Big Ten school. Please apply! Illinois Indiana Iowa Michigan Michigan State Minnesota Northwestern Ohio State Penn State Purdue Wisconsin moreResolved Question: Anybody think that ice hockey will become an official Big Ten sport?
OK, consider the facts: 1) 5 Big Ten schools (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State) already have full-fledged NCAA varsity hockey programs that currently play in "hockey only" conferences. 2) Every other Big Ten school has a "club" hockey team that plays in a non-varsity, non-NCAA sanctioned league. 3) Some of these club teams (Penn State, Illinois and Iowa) draw a pretty big following and are rumored to be considering making the jump to being an official NCAA school in the sport. 4) Even though ice hockey is not an official Big Ten sport, the Big Ten Network already broadcasts hockey games between Big Ten Schools. In light of these facts, it would seem that there is at least a possibility that ice hockey might become a sport officially sponsored by the Big Ten. Does anybody have any information or rumors about ice hockey becoming an official Big Ten sport? What do you think about the possibility that this occurring? moreResolved Question: Does any one know how to get local channels on dish network from a distant market.?
I live in California and I want to get Wisconsin local channels. I don't mind if I loose my California channels as I can pick them up on my antenna. Is there any way to convince dish network I moved to Wisconsin and have them switch me over to the Wisconsin networks? Has anyone ever attempted this? The reason I want to do this is I want to watch Wisconsin sports teams and I would have to get dish and direct tv and spend an extra $3000 or more a year to do it the right way. moreResolved Question: Wisconsin Badger Fans in Madison are screwed by Charter?

Sometimes when a game was not on TV and it was on a Satilite Network they would show it on WISC TV 3 CBS, or My Madison TV 14, which realy helps, they got to have some of The Games on The Big Ten Network on WISC, and My 14. I hope to God by next year, so many Charter Cable Customers will complain to Charter, that Charter will HAVE to Have The Big Ten Network for the 2008-2009 Season. The Big Ten Network will be the WORST thing EVER, to happen to The Big Ten, unless if Charter and other Cable Companies like Comcast, Time Warner, through out Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Pennsylvania (Those are the states that have a Big Ten Team, and have The Big Ten Network) moreResolved Question: I'm looking for a sports article on the top college athletics programs?
I saw on the local news that a sports magazine/network (i think sports illustrated) released a recent article on top collegiate athletics programs. Universities got 25 points for being #1 in the AP poll for one sport, and 1 point for being #25, etc. I remember Ohio State was #1, Wisconsin #2, North Carolina #3, Minnesota #4, Florida #13, Michigan #22. Does anyone know what sports magazine/network released it, and if so, provide a link? If it was only found in the hard copy of a magazine, then that works too. Thanks! moreTop Wisconsin Sports Network Links
