I own a 2008 Civic Coupe EX. I purchased a 2006 Civic Hybrid head unit to replace my 2008 unit. The 2006 head unit has the “XM/AUX” button on it and the “MP3 (((XM Ready))) WMA” writing below the display. My 2008 head unit does not say XM or XM ready anywhere on the unit. I thought I could switchout the 2006 XM Ready head unit and then activate the XM radio. After investigating further—I am questioning whether I still must purchase and install the Honda XM Satellite Radio unit (P/N 08A15-3J1-000) and the other parts that go along with it?? more

I purchased an Xpress XM device, and the instructions are asking for me to hook the XM antenna to the vehicle's FM antenna. I walked around my vehicle and cannot locate the antenna. I have had Sirius Satellite Radio since June and it has been great, but the other day my car blew a fuse and blew the radio out and now the receiver will only work if the car is hot inside. It has been rather cool in the morning and it will not come on until it gets warmer outside and the inside of the car is hot.
