Thanks for any help! moreResolved Question: Help finding the title of a rap song.?
This is going to be the least descriptive question you could possibly think of. I heard about 10 seconds of the beginning of a rap song a couple of days ago on XM 52, Sirius 28, on satellite radio (Faction). The only thing I could pick up about the song was the incredibly cool beat, and here is where the very poor description comes from. It sounded fairly new (done in the last 10 years from the sound of it). The beginning starts with a beat that ends with what I can only describe as a dinosaur roar, and it roars again every few 10 seconds or so between lyrics. I'm sorry I can't be of anymore help, but anyone who can identify the rap song with this awful explanation will get incredible kudos. moreResolved Question: Which is better to get for commercial free music: Sirius or XM?

My fiance and i are looking into Satellite radio, our question is probably a simple one but haven't not used these services before we have no way of knowing. If we were to purchase a plan, and a few recievers, one for home and one for my office, and my truck has an add on that I can buy, can all of these be used at the same time, or even with the same subscription? The answer to this question is likely the deal maker or breaker for us. Thank you for any answers! moreResolved Question: Which satellite radio service comes factory with GM vehicles? XM or Sirius?

I'm thinking about subscribing to xm. I know you have to have a player and a way to link it to your car cd player or dock. I have an eclipse CD1200 in my car that I bought. It says it's satellite radio - ready but specifies sirius as the carrier. Since xm and sirius merged, will the cd player in my car be able to "pick up" my sirius player? Or how does it work if you buy an xm player? Please help! moreResolved Question: Questions about sirius satellite radio? For a maybe new user?
Hello I'm considering to get a sirius satellite radio because I really like all the channels I'm one of the people who listens to everything and I like that if I'm in the mood for sinatra all I have to do is turn on the station.(which is really nice I'm not limited to listening to sinatra in are local italian resturant) Anyways I was just wandering how good is it and is it worth the money. I figure the 12.95 or whatever a month isn't that bad for all these stations.(which seems to make FM radio look small) Also would it be better to have a professional do the install or is it pretty easy. I also know theres is the XM which do you think is better? For sirius which package should I go with? Any other info will help too. moreResolved Question: Is satellite radio worth the cost?

"Tomorrow morning both Ron and Rand will be guests on the Mike Church show on Sirius-XM satellite radio. There are rumors swirling that Rand may take the opportunity to officially announce his candidacy for the U.S. Senate. Paul has already been making stump speeches around Kentucky and has said he will run only if current Kentucky Senator Jim Bunning retires. From Matt Collins on the Campaign For Liberty site: The longest running satellite radio talk show host, Mike Church, will interview both Ron and Rand Paul tomorrow Thursday 5/7 on SiriusXM radio. Ron is scheduled to be on the air at 9:30am (eastern) and Rand is scheduled at 10:05am (eastern). In case you are unaware Rand Paul, Ron’s son, is ready to run for the US Senate from Kentucky. Mike Church’s website is: http://www.mikechurch.com If you have never heard Mike Church before you should know that he is a friend of liberty and a strict Constitutionalist. There are many individuals within the liberty movement that subscribe to Sirius/XM just to listen to Mike Church’s show. Here is the information on the channel: http://www.sirius.com/siriuspatriot So tune in tommorrow and hear what Rand and Ron have to say; it might just suprise you. So if the announcement is made tomorrow, which I expect is forthcoming either tomorrow or very soon, be prepared for the return of the moneybomb. Perhaps we can fill the political coffers for Rand to win in 2010. I’d pay money to see “Ron Paul and Son” playing on CSPAN. Wouldn’t you?http://libertymaven.com/2009/05/06/ron-pauls-son-rand-ready-to-make-senate-bid-official/5625/ What do you think? Do you think they will announce Rand's run for Senate?Rip Lux, I THINK you just go to the link, but I don't really know. I bet it will say on C4L near the time, though, if that isn't right.Levon, he has mostly the same views from what I understand, definitely the same on bailouts the fed, etc. I haven't heard anywhere they differ, yet, but I'd look to find out if they did. Still, I support him for Senate against the others running. moreResolved Question: I heard the Sirius & XM merger was exclusive to the U.S...?
...and that XM Canada & Sirius Canada still remain independent from each other. With that being said, which is better--XM or Sirius? I am considering satellite radio subscription in the near future. I heard that XM Canada & Sirius Canada might eventually merge too--any info as to when that might happen? moreResolved Question: Is there anyway to install a satellite radio in my 2003 G35 without the $600 factory receiver?
Best buy says no but I never really trusted their audio guys. I mean can I hook up the XM or Sirius receivers and hook it up to the factory deck that I supposedly can't replace as well due to it being connected to the whole climate control interface? This is frustrating especially since my CD player doesn't work and Infinity says that will be $400. moreResolved Question: What is satellite radio for the car?
For Sirius and XM. Can you just buy the radio, install it in your car, subscribe to the radio service or whatever.. and listen to international radios?... Can you listen to any type of genre ever? Can you listen to reggae from jamaica, pop from japan, techno from france? or is it very limited U.S. radio stations rock/hip-hop only is it like internet radio in the car?how do you go about getting/doing this radio? moreResolved Question: Which satellite radio service is better XM or Sirius?

I am just curious to know how XM Satellite radio or SIRIUS satellite radio started out before they made it big. Any information is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you and God bless! -MAD DOGI meant how they got established. moreResolved Question: anyone listen to HD Radio? How's the quality compared to Satellite?
I've never actually met anyone who had or used an HD radio, although I've heard plenty of commercials about them. I am sick of Sirius and their BS, so I have been looking into just tapping into HD radio. commercials and the such never bothered me much- they talk so much on most the stations on sirius anyway, might as well be listening to commercials... Plus Sirius cuts out anytime I'm sitting under a bridge or something- and with a number of roads which go parallel right under highways, it's cutting out several times on my commutes. Anyone experience it? How's the quality compared to Sirius/XM? moreResolved Question: Sirius Satellite Radio Antennas?
Im thinking about buying a Sirius Satellite outdoor antenna .Its the Pro 500 or 600 Professional outdoor xm&sirius antenna. They both sell for around $124to $134 dollars.Does anybody knows which would bring in the strongest signal. moreResolved Question: Anyone have satellite radio?
I am considering buying and subscribting to the Sirius or Xm Satellite Radio (but I've heard they own each other). There are reports that they are soon to go bankrupt. Circuit City has many XM and Sirius units on sale, but they too have told me to stear clear of buying a satellite radio. I really want one. What is the risk to the benefits? Do you like yours? Any other info would be helpful.Woops, typo. moreResolved Question: Xm Satellite Radio or Sirius?
My mom's rent car is equipped with Sirius Satellite Radio. I have not had much experience with it before, but have fallen in love with it. I am considering getting a satellite radio put into my car. 1. Which is better, XM or Sirius? 2. Are they hard to install, by yourself? 3. Can I use it, even though my car has a "regular" radio and cd player already, albeit a error message sending CD player. What are the differences? Do I need to pay a monthly subscription fee or buy loaded cards? moreResolved Question: How do I get FM Radio Signal from a city 110 miles away?
I live 110 miles away from Dallas, TX, and I love the FM radio stations they have there. However I'm too far to get the signal with normal radio devices. I have considered satellite radio such as XM or Sirius, but they are too expensive to set up, and I'm considering them as a last resource. What I would like is to just set up a simple antenna that would receive Dallas FM stations and sends them to my Home Theater. Any help would be awesome. Thank you all very much!Oh, one last thing. I have only one computer available and its used mostly all the time by my step son. He plays his own music and plays games while I want to play my music. So streaming from the computer wouldn't work, as I wouldnt want to hear random gunshots or races or whatever in the middle of a Mozart symphony. Plus, the PC is too far away from my BOSE speakers, and extending a cable all the way there would be ugly and bulky. moreVoting Question: Any good deals on XM or Sirius Satellite radio subscriptions?
I want to subscribe, but are there any promotions? Where? moreVoting Question: I have a satellite radio question.?
I have a Chev. Colorado with factory XM radio. I want to replace it with an in-dash DVD that is Sirius SSP direct connection "ready". First, what is the nature of satellite receivers? Do I need to buy an additional satellite receiver or do satellite receivers just piggy-back on most car radios therefore I just plug it in? Secondly, would an aftermarket device set up for Sirius be compatible with an XM receiver (they have merged)? It's all very confusing and any help would be appreciated. By the way the unit I'm interested in is a Calrion MAX385VD. moreResolved Question: An XM / Sirius question...?
I am currently an XM subscriber, but listen only in the car. Can I listen at home, online, or on a portable satellite radio under the same subscription? Can more than one be used at the same time? moreResolved Question: Where can i find an antenna-less xm radio or sirius satellite receiver. Kind of like a GPS look a like?
A friend of mine back home had a xm radio or sirius radio reciever in his truck, and it did not have any annoying antenna wire. the only wire protruding from the receiver was the power wire that connects to the ciggarette lighter. The receiver had the suction cup to the front windshield and im guessing the antenna was located in the suction cup. Where or what model can I find this satellite radio receiver???? And i would ask my friend for the model but he lives thousand and thousands of miles away from me and i dont have his phone number. Thanks moreResolved Question: sirius/xm satellite radios?
my bf has a sirius account and wants to buy me my own radio and add me to his account...do i have to buy a sirius radio and carkit?? or can it be an xm radio?? moreResolved Question: Is it just me or is the Sirius/XM satellite radio merger a bunch of Baloney? ?
I have long desired satellite radio but I knew the 2 giants were in talks of merging as well as battling anti-trust laws, and I wanted to wait for that dust to settle before investing. Finally they merge, so I go to check out pricing, and what I discover is that it's not really a merge per se; it's not all the channels of both as I had hoped. What it seems to be is XM radio as it always was, but for EXTRA $$$ you can buy the "best of Sirius", which includes all of like 5 dinky channels, 4/5 of which are useless to me. Has anyone purchased the full package? Is it worth it? Am I missing something? moreResolved Question: Will Sirius/XM satellite radio go under?
Mel Karmizan (sp) counted on the auto industry for sales of the edgy medium. With the economical debacle that was engineered by ignoring regulations via the C student from Yale, leader of the "free" world ( free to invade sovereign nations who did nothing to us but keep the dictator we installed, all to avenge daddy, with a shadow government), it looks as if the USA will soon nolonger manufacture autos or even enable its citizenry to purchase them. The domino or ripple effect.Remember the steel industry? We can't even create trinkets anymore as the Chinese have that market cornered. The government wanted to destoy Howard Stern and they think they did. Well we will see who laughs last here. The story has not concluded and they were not able to go to the Supreme Court and have the election count stopped, this time. Nancy Pelosi is 2nd in line , boyyeeeeeeees.Well said gearbox Thumbs up. Yes. 2nd in line. As in Ist in line Biden and 2nd in line Pelosithanks donk287The FCC wanted to destroy him when he ventured into politics. That is when the heat started. They wanted to ban him from saying"dingleberry" & Janis Jackson was accosted on stage by a white man in front of millions and they went after Howard big time. Obama has real issues to address. Not some FCC manufactured diversionary tactic while the real powers dismantled the Constitution. Mel will adapt or perish. He is not prone to the latter. moreVoting Question: I have some questions about satellite radio?
My Dad loves talk radio, news, sports. I've been thinking of getting him a satellite radio for Christmas. XM Radio and Sirius Radio appear to have merged, but retained their respective brand names? I like the "News, Sports, and Talk" package for $9.99/month, however I am afraid it will not have enough coverage for college sports. The Best of XM is really what I think I need, but it is $17/month for 3 months or $16/month if you subscribe for the year -- pretty pricey just for radio IMO. Does anyone subscribe to the "Sports News and Talk" package? What is the actual amount you pay per month/term? Does it cover college sports well? Are you happy with it? I'm mainly just looking for people that subscribe to Best of XM or News Sports and Talk to get opinions on the programming and price. Thanks. moreResolved Question: XM and Sirius Satellite Radio Question?
This question may be obvious, but I'm not for sure. My dad's vehicle (2007 Ford Edge SEL) came with built-in Sirius satellite radio into the factory stereo. And it doesn't display the song name, artist, or album for the song playing. Now it may be different from the portable XM Pioneer Inno and the new XMP3, but do either of these portable devices display the song information? And one more question, does the XMP3 have a built-in flash drive? Or do I have to buy a separate microSD card to store the "100 hours of my favorite XM programs" like Pioneer claims? Thank you all so much. Much appreciated. moreResolved Question: Which is better XM or Sirius Satellite Radio?
I want to buy a satellite radio for my mom for Christmas. I don't know which is better please help me. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! moreResolved Question: Anybody know anything about Sirius Satellite radio?
I want to get my parents something for Christmas- I was hoping to find something for Sirius or XM satellite radio and make it to where they can hook it up in their car, and also unhook it and dock it to something in the house to play there too. Anyone know of anything like this? And if so, where can I get one? moreResolved Question: Satellite radio versus XM radio?
Whats the difference between satellite radio and XM radio? I want to buy my husband something for his car to listen to a wide variety of music. Problem is I don't know anything about these things. He does but I don't want to blow the surprise so I can't ask him. I notice that I can buy either XM radios or Sirius satellite radio things. I don't know which to choose. And is the service free then,,, if not how much does it cost.... is it a month bill or what? Any advice or tips is great! Thanks.Katusha R....... I am not new to YA!....
