Resolved Question: Who has a satelite radio?

My father bought me a Sirius satellite radio a year ago and I have loved it every moment since. Crystal clear sound, lots of talk stations including all 24 hour news channels live and crystal clear commercial free music stations. With my stiletto 2 I can record songs I hear on the radio at the push of a button if I like them, priceless to me, especially since I used to spend a lot on itunes, now its almost free. I am sad it has not caught on more seeing as how sirius may be filling for chapter 11 bankruptcy soon. Hopefully they will come out ok so I do not have to go back to what I call "the poor mans radio". So, Who has a sat radio? more

Resolved Question: What should I get my brother for his birthday???

My little brother’s birthday is in a month, he will be 19 years old and I have no idea what to get him. Here are some things about him: he is mentally and physically handicap, he has cerebral palsy. He LOVES music and anything to do with electronics. Now his case isn’t bad, he can’t walk, and he goes to ‘normal’ high school, but he has a helper and does special work, not normal class work. He can’t read or spell, he has the school learning abilities of a 4-5 year old, but is relatively smart when it comes to electronics, music and stuff of that matter. He just got a new TV, new surround sound; he has an ipod, xm/Sirius satellite radio, record players, records, 8track players and tapes out the butt. He has a DVD and VCR player and tape players and CD players out the butt as well. He has practically every DVD and CD known to man. Yes, he is VERY spoiled. So there in lies the problem, I have no idea what to get him for his birthday. Anyone have any ideas on nifty things that he might enjoy or I just haven’t heard of. Mind you, I’m not rich, so nothing too expensive. ThanksSorry if this isn't in the right category, I just had no idea where to put it...Sorry.when I say he has every cd I mean every cd.. and if there happens to be one he doesn't have my mom buys it for him.. then bitches that she can't find anything to get him for his bday.Blonde from D island: A dog would be a good idea, however, my mom already has 2 dogs and 2 indoor cats and 7 outdoor cats.. I had it happen before in a parking garage here in town and thought it must be a fluke. But both times there was obviously no path to the satellite. Heck I drive under a bridge on the highway and it cuts out so am stumped. I do not have one that records. Am in Austin Texas if that makes a difference. more

I really feel like the ipod has reached the end of its development., with only little potential remaning for innovation, since anything more than what they have right now will be unnecessary. Even the video function in the new generation of ipods is a little excessive. It seems like they have a few choices: 1) Cosmetic Development (increase memory, enlarge screen size, thinner models, high definition support, etc.) 2) Technological Development (integrate satellite radio support by collaboration with Sirius, and/or allow for TV reception and recording) What do you think? Is the ipod nearing its developmental end? And if not, what are some feasible ideas for innovation that are not going to be too crazy (like making phone calls, internet access or taking pictures)? Come to think of it, I kind of like the Sirius idea.Of course thay can just keep adding to it, but I feel that the ipod is, in essence, an mp3 player and there is only so much you can add to without it becoming either absurd or something else altogether. more
